The weather is crazy here. One day it's 21°C and sunny the next it's -1 and raining.

Don't despair, at least summer will be here soon. And before we know it, we'll miss the cold weather again.

Woah, that's quite the swing in temperatures! Makes it hard to adjust and seems to bring out more cold and flu.


the moderate temperaturs of spring and fall are my favourite times of year.

I can’t wait for spring at this point I just had two paid snow days from work but I have a feeling tomorrow will not be a snow day, I don’t think they will do three days in a row so I cleaned off my car and shoveled the driveway behind my car.

That was a nice surprise 4 day weekend. And the upcoming weekend will also be a 3 day weekend for me

for paid snow days! Around here they often cancel all the busses, but keep the schools open. To me it makes no sense at all to expect teachers to get in, and say it's okay for parents to bring their children, but it's not safe for the busses to be on the roads. Wouldn't 1 bus be safer than 30 individual cars? Apparently part of it is that the school board has to have a certain number of days of scheduled instruction to get their grants from the province. So if the school is open, they qualify, even if the teachers aren't covering new material since most of the students aren't there.

Yeah that makes no sense

Tomorrow is a pro-d day which means the kids don’t have to go, but I do however, we are getting another dump of snow and freezing rain which worries me to go out driving tomorrow.

But 3 day weekend after tomorrow cause it’s a new stat holiday called Family Day in BC!

So far, I’m having a nice time, the house is empty, aka quiet and I’ve been doing girly things like facial scrubs and lip balms and coffee!

I've got a mild headache today and I have to buy a new leash for the dog. It's also getting warm here now so I also have to buy cooling mats for the dogs.

Yes, it is. Although not every province celebrates Family Day. It's something that was started maybe 20 years ago to give us a break between New Year's and Easter.

That was a nice three day weekend. Harsh reality tomorrow with not only back to work but also having to drive in new snowfall expected!
