Info Center - Avatar Problems #3~ Custom avatars enabled within 24 hrs after reaching 100 posts - Page 2

I'm so sorry, you guys are probaly tired of this but i've read the how to thingy:

1. Go to 'USER CP'
2. Go to 'Edit Options'
3. Scroll down, and click on 'Change Avatar'
4. Scroll down to 'Custom Avatars'
5. Check the 'Yes' button, and then either copy the URL of the avatar, or upload it from your computer.

but i can't find 'Custom Avatar' on the page. there are only still photo provided from the site, so what do i do? or do i have to post more before i can do anything?

Flo23 - you need to have 501 posts before you can have a custom avatar. I know that it seems like a long way down the road right now, but you'll get there.

exist someone thread exclusive to request avatars??... because I requested a wallpaper in Fan Art and they ignored my request, and I wouldn´t like that it happened the same with my avatar now...
I want to request it because really I don´t know to make it

Okay, this isn't a problem with uploading avatars, but rather with viewing them. I have read people's comments regarding others' avatars, but I can't see them. I see some avatars (mostly the regular ones, but a few custom ones) but not all. Why is that? Is it something wrong with my settings?

If you go to 'User CP',
then 'Edit Options',
about halfway down the page besides 'Thread View Options',
do you have the box next to 'Show user's avatar in their posts?' set to 'Yes'?

Yes--McAfee. Is that the problem? If so, how do I adjust it? (Keeping in mind that I know almost nothing about computers).

I actually don't know how to adjust it but that might be the reason that some avatars aren't showing up.

I have no problems viewing the standard ones that everyone can choose from before they hit 500 posts. I can also see some of the animated/custom ones. I can only see a fraction of the latter, however, and when I hear people commenting on how cute they look, I feel like I am missing out. I was wondering if it was something to do with the format that the avi was saved in, but I have no real idea. If it can't be dealt with, that's fine, I will survive!
