ETA: why oh why didn't Big just tell Carrie something, anything!?!?!? That poor girl standing there waiting for some sort of validation that their relationship means something. I'm not talking about Big lying to her and saying he loved her if he didn't, but come on! you can't buy someone's love with fancy vacations when you're not willing to make any step in the next stop wherever they were headed.
