Bonuses For SATC's Kristin And Cynthia
Not everything is sexy in the city. Sources tell Star that Kim Cattrall was such a diva to work with on the Sex and the City movie that her costars are getting a secret bonus for dealing with Kim's prima donna behavior.

An insider tells Star, "Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are getting a 'hush-hush' bonus for not being divas during filming and as a thank-you for putting up with Kim."

Jennifer Aniston's mystery man is Jason Lewis?
Posted on Tuesday, January 01, 2008 (EST)
The mystery man accompanying Jennifer Aniston on her Mexico sojourn with the Cox-Arquettes may well be Jason Lewis, the Sex and the City hunk and Brad Pitt look alike that Aniston has reportedly been dating.

2 January 2008 (Sawf News) - The mystery man accompanying Jennifer Aniston on her Mexico sojourn with the Cox-Arquettes may well be Jason Lewis, the Sex and the City hunk and Brad Pitt look alike that Aniston has reportedly been dating, reports OK! magazine.

Lewis, 36, plays the love interest of Kim Cattrall's Samantha character in Sex and the City. There were reports that he and Aniston are now living together.

A tall man wearing a fedora was seen escorting Jen as she boarded a private jet for her vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Later on Friday, December 28, Jen was seen briefly talking to the man over cocktails. Most of the time, however, Jen and the mystery man have remained holed up in Jen's rented cottage.

If Lewis is indeed accompanying Aniston on her vacation it would indicate a growing intimacy and a strong desire to keep the romance private.

Thanx, Emily, I hope we can hear more about Jason and Jen on the gossip shows!

Emily 01-02-2008 01:17 PM

I know I've been reading stuff about jason & jen for a while now but haven't seen any pics or anything!? When I see some pics I'll post them!

Michelle 01-02-2008 07:11 PM

I would love if it were true. She's great and he's a total hunk. But I really don't think he's a Brad Pitt look a like. :look: Well, maybe just a tad.

I don't know if the reports about Kim are all true, but she's always been reported as being hard to work with. Wonder why she's like that?

Emily 01-03-2008 06:00 AM

Yeah I don't think hes a Brad lookalike either! They would be an adorable couple and he seems very laid back

I know I saw her recently on a tv show and she seemed so funny and easy going, it could all be rumours

Michelle I love your icon!! :lmao:

Michelle 01-03-2008 06:42 AM

Thanks! I snagged it from imaclanni @ LJ... I think Andy is hilarious.

While I was in line at the grocery the other day, I actually saw on a National Enquirer cover that Jennifer Aniston was pregnant and it was possibly by Jason Lewis. But, then again it is the National Equirer so it's more than likely false.

Even on the E! SATC Hollywood story they talked about how Kim just didn't get along with the rest of the bunch. Heck, I'd just be happy to be a part of such a great show. But, then again we don't know the whole story.

Emily 01-03-2008 08:33 AM

Andy is brilliant I love when he says 'Jim Halpert is off the market, guess who just became the best looking single guy in the office.' :lmao:

I read that too and that he went on a dinner date with Jen, courtney and david for christmas and stuff  They would be such a cute couple I hope some snaps appear :)

Its seems pretty public that there was a dispute over SJP's higher pay but then again we don't know what's actually true but I totally agree I would be so excited to be apart of satc!!

Can Golden Globes Shine Without Stars?
By SANDY COHEN – 16 hours ago
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Talk about star power: The success of Hollywood's awards season sits squarely on the shoulders of celebrities.

With no new talks scheduled in the 10-week Writers Guild of America strike, stars would have to cross picket lines to attend the Golden Globe awards — and industry insiders say that's unlikely.

Seventy-two actors are among this year's Golden Globe nominees. The writers guild promises to picket the Jan. 13 ceremony, despite repeated efforts by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which puts on the Globes, to seek the group's blessing.
"It's simple: no one is going to cross the picket line," said Kelly Bush, chief executive officer of ID, a public-relations and marketing firm that represents dozens of Golden Globe nominees. "We have a lot of first-time nominees and they would love to be there to celebrate their great year, but they're not going to cross the
picket line and they totally support the writers."

Many actors have been supportive of their striking colleagues, but some are still conflicted about attending the Golden Globes.

Best-actor nominee Denzel Washington, a WGA supporter, said he was hoping the strike would be resolved before the Golden Globes so he wouldn't be faced with the decision of whether or not to attend.

"The writers deserve to get their slice," he said. "If the studios (are) making money on something that the writer wrote and the actor acted in and the director directed, then those people deserve to make money too."

Sarah Jessica Parker, an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for "Sex and the City," said her camp had been in early talks for her to potentially appear as an awards presenter but that the strike put that prospect in limbo.

"It's hard to imagine crossing a picket line. Getting all dressed up and crossing the picket line," said Parker, who recently finished shooting her big-screen version of "Sex and the City," due out next summer. "I'm hoping every day, regardless of awards season or not, that they come to some agreement to end the strike."
David Cronenberg, director of best-picture nominee "Eastern Promises" and a writers guild member, said he would not cross a picket line to attend the Globes.
"I think it's on everybody's mind. I can't imagine there's anybody who's not thinking about that," he said. "It's going to be like that for every televised awards show anyway, that's for sure. It's a depressing situation."

NBC still planned to broadcast the show, which is being produced by dick clark productions for the HFPA. All three organizations declined to comment Thursday.
The Golden Globes show brings in a reported $5 million for the HFPA and millions more in advertising revenue for the network. Dinner and party plans were still moving forward as well, with lavish bashes planned by several studios.

Some industry insiders have suggested that the Golden Globes could be saved by scrapping the telecast.
Jeff Hermanson, assistant executive director of WGA West, said pickets will be in place if the Globes are televised in any way.
"If it was going to be strictly a party — wasn't taped, wasn't broadcast — we would have no reason to picket," he said, adding that studio after-parties would not be a target for pickets. "We want people to enjoy themselves and have a good time. We're sorry that we're put in this position to have to contemplate picketing an awards show by companies that refuse to bargain."

Oh, I wanna see Sarah as a presenter, please :glow:

Emily 01-05-2008 09:28 AM

 I'd love to see SJP do some presenting, she was great at doing the movie awards that year!!

Oh totally Michelle! Andy is the best! i dunno I guess without writers they don't have much of an awards show?

SEX AND THE CITY STAR KIM IS ABOUT TO PROWL LONDON
ACTRESS Kim Cattrall, best known as the maneater Samantha, is bringing sex to a new city – London. The Sex And The City star who has always seemed more New York than Macy’s is swapping the Big Apple for The Smoke.
She is ploughing her salary from the big screen version of her TV hit – rumoured to be seven figures – into a new London property.

British-born Kim, who studied at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, revealed: “The money means I’ll get my flat in London. I will keep my New York apartment but I think I’d be very happy living in London.

“There I can be independent and the roles are more gratifying than in America. In my age group the roles are not as good as they used to be but in England you have wonderful older actors in lead roles.”

Kim Cattrall moving to europe :yay: That's amazing

Michelle 01-06-2008 05:04 PM

I'm thinking that's a nice move for her. Didn't she do some theater over there not long after SATC ended?

Emily 01-06-2008 05:31 PM

It's great news! She did theatre, the movie with Daniel Radcliffe 'my boy jack' and she also presented a tv show, I think she could do very well in England! :)
