Steph - I've always admired all the people working in hospitals/medical care areas. My mother was a nurse, and I know what a difference a good nurse can make.

Yeah Steph its a good field to get into because theres always a need for nurses. And if you don't like beside nursing you can go to the other end of the spectrum and do things like transcription. I made a few rounds in the premie baby unit last week. I change a diaper on a baby that weighed only a pound. It was so cute. I brought a little diaper home to show my husband how tiny they were, he couldn't believe it.

Aww, I know! Stephen was just 3lbs when he was born, his little outfits completely covered him up! Now he's so big you would never think he was a premie. Aww, I really miss him being a baby. I want anthor one.

Nurses are very important, believe me I know. I always go to a certain hospital, I was born there actually, and they have great nurses. When I had Stephen one of them played cards with Brad while we all watched the movie Alien on tv.

Movie is on HBO Steph. So far its a good movie.

My oldest wants to be a nurse in the hospital. I think she'd do good. She loves babies and is a very passionate person and caring person.

Tell her to do it then. To go to college for it. I wanted to go to college when I was young but then when I was older I didn't. So I wish I had. But my life would be totally different. I'm sure I would not have my son if I had went right on schedule.

My mom told me all these fun stories of college life like 2 years ago and I was like why didn't you ever tell me this stuff before?? I might have went! I wanted to go to the same college she did.

Aww, just got to the part where he figures out his son is deaf. Aww how sad for him, since music was his biggest love. Was this based on a true story? It seems like it.

Yep Steph, she plans on going to college. A lot of small colleges have nursing programs too, so we're looking into both. It will just depend where we are and how her grades are. She does know that she needs good grades for nursing, so lets hope it works and keeps her motivated.
I've also thought of having her volunteer in hospitals when she gets to be in high school. I think it would be good for her.
