I'm glad this thread was stared... I absolute love the songs used in this show. Sometimes songs can make or break a scene.

Some of my favorites:

At the end of the Domino Effect... In the waiting line by Zero 7

Also, You've got the love by Candi Stanton in the finale, how perfect was that song!!

I really liked the song that was playing when Carrie ran out of Petrovsky's art show in Paris. It fit the scene perfectly. Of course, I have no idea what it's called or who sang it.

Oh I really liked that song as well!

I totally agree about 'you got the love' they could not have picked a better song, that scene is brilliant and i totally get goosebumps when i watch it

There was a song in season 4 (I think) that said something about making love on a mountain top it followed with the words "What in these shoes? I don't think so". Can anyone let me know ho sang it??

The song's called "In these shoes" by Kirsty MacColl, it's from the ep "The Agony and the 'Ex'-tacy"

I did love the music, it was a big part of the show!

I love "you got the love" (what an excellent choice !!)
But it's not the only one I loved the music when Aidan and Carrie sleep for the last time together on the other side of the wall [I coudln't find the name nor who sings it] or the one when Carrie walks wearing her "Dior newspaper dress" (season 3 ep 17)

I love the music in Domino Effect too but the one where Big's heart opens (when they lay in bed together), I couldn't find it...

I couldn't agree with you more! The music choices were always amazing!

'You got the love' is probably my favorite song from the series, it was so fitting and perfect as the final song.

The song that you're talking about in the Domino effect was 'Solitude' by Bob Christianson. He did a lot of songs for the show.

I can't seem to find the other songs you mentioned, but I'll keep trying! I know what ones you're talking about and they are so good!

I googled it and alot of singers seem to be listed with Moon River- Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong. I always thought it was Andy Williams in the show but on the HBO website it is listed as the artist being Henry Mancini
