I liked the ending but I did wish Charlotte had gotten pregnant without losing it.

I was 38 weeks pregnant, having my blood pressured monitored, when part II was screened Australia. I had to watch it on a small screen in black and white coz the color wasn't working. I LOVED it, and still believe it was one of the best final epps ever. One thing I would have changed is the name of Mr Big. I don't reakon he looks like a John, but I am glad that they did reveal his name...

A few more epps would have nice too, coz it seemed a little rushed at the end..

I kind of like that his name was something simple like John. After having been referred to only as "Big" for so many years, it just seemed cute that his name was really just John.

I don't think I would change a single thing about the finale. I loved it all. It is, IMO, one of the best TV finales ever. Thank God Carrie did not stay in Paris with the Russian! She belongs with her girls in NYC and with John (it is still odd to call him that ...!)

I agree whole heartedly I really enjoyed the feeling of pure joy and sadness watching the finale, I was flipping through the channels last night and the finale was playing on some obscure channel and I watched it again just smiling through the whole thing

I can watch it any time, anywhere, any amount of times. It is such a perfect finale. I saw the alternate endings on the DVD and I really think they were only meant to be foilers to keep info from leaking. There is no way that the writers didn't always intend for what we saw to be the REAL ending.

As I see,SATC teaches me how to love bravely and cherish the people around me.
When I saw everyone crying in the end it made me satisfied and pleased.

I only saw "American Girl in Paris Part Deux" for the first time late last year (missed it when it was premiered on Chanel 9 in Australia) and even I cried from when Big turned up at the Hotel in Paris to find Carrie in the lobby to when the girls left their regular hangout after Carrie returned.

Thank the Lord Carrie ditched the Russian - I couldn't stand him or the way the Russian treated Carrie around others and totally abandoned her.

I always knew she would get back with Big - He is the only man for her as far as I am concerned.

I was glad she got rid of the Russian too! I really need to rewatch the finale. I've only seen it a couple of times.. it was just too sad for me to watch.
