Like both of you, Emily and Shannon, I enjoyed the Samantha/Smith storyline, too. It was nice to see Samantha grow from a woman who used men for sex to truly caring about a man and eventually loving him. We hadn't seen that side of her throughout the course of the show, so it was nice to see that in the end, she was able to have a relationship with a man who treated her nice. I enjoyed her relationship with Richard, but he ended up cheating no her. Smith would've never done that to her.

Cattrall laments loss of voluptuous women

15/07/2006 - 22:32:07

Former Sex And the City star Kim Cattrall has blasted the Hollywood obsession for waif-like women.

The sexy actress is stunned at the appearance of some of today's stars such as Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan and Kate Bosworth, who have all the headlines recently due to their skinny frames.

She says: "Marilyn Monroe was the last of the voluptuous women.

"If you saw a woman like that now they'd say: 'Oh my God, she's so fat!' That's a shame."

The actress, who played full-figured Manhattan man-eater Samantha Jones in the hit show, said it was important to be happy in your own skin.

"If your vision of beauty doesn't include you, then you've got some serious work to do," she said.

Your english is very good David I really like that hospital scene as well, it really shows how supportive the girls are of each other and how much they care about Sam, I haven't seen that episode in ages!

I haven't read her book, Emily. I also liked the scene at Miranda's reception when she sat down with the girls after Samantha had told them all about the cancer. It was such a great moment because it truly showed that they would support each other in everything.

davide: Those were both great scenes! And don't worry about your English, it's very good

Oh that was a great scene Nichole it was so sweet that Samantha didn't want to ruin her day but Miranda demanded to know they were all so concerned

That's why I loved their friendship so much. Those girls were there for each other, regardless of the fact that they may not agree with decisions the other made with their life. I wish that I had close friendships like that.

I always loved Samantha for being so funny, and openminded. Even when Carrie told her she had been cheating on Aidan with Big, she passed no judgement. That was very sweet of Sam and I liked that about her, because a girl needs a friend who sees through stupid things and loves you anyway

So true Lifestyle, I think thats why Carrie felt she could tell Samantha, Charlotte definitely did not react well and she was afraid Miranda would be judemental.

Great quote Davide
