"Is there a secret cold war between marrieds and singles?"

Mini Plot of this episode:

Carrie's friends husband flashes Carrie at his house in the Hamptons. Then she dates a guy worth marrying aka "Marrying Guy" but he eventually goes out with Charlotte. And Charlotte dumps him because she hates the China pattern he's picked out. Miranda pretends to be a lesbian to impress her boss. Samantha gets drunk and hooks up with Charlottes doorman.

Its been a couple of months since I've seen this episode. So I'll rewatch and post my comments. But, I do know that the funniest part was the Peppermill joke that passed between the girls. As Sam said "Oh, I think everyone at this table could use lots of black pepper."

Yep, black pepper part was to funny, then they see him at the party and say it again.

The doorman was young, but pretty cute. To bad he was to young for Sam.

I LOVED this episode!

It's one of my faves. Samantha was too funny, especially with the fresh papper.

And also at the party when she realizes she had ****ed most of the guests.

I also loved the return of the pepper guy when Sam started laughing.

I think its really out of order when Carrie gets sent home...when it was the husband that walked around naked..I found it hilarious when they later turned up at the party and Sam was like 'I know you.....'

I totally thought that woman was out of line towards Carrie. I would have been upset, but not at Carrie. I think it came down to Miranda's discussion on that married women are nervous and thinking that single women would try stealing their men, but Carrie wasn't like that.

I know....Carrie wasn't like that at all....its not her fault that her friends husband likes to walk around naked.

My stepmom used to run around in her bras/undies, sexy lingerie. My brothers friends loved it. She's not like that anymore, but jeez, can't believe he was all casual about it. Like it was nothing new.

I thought the woman would have gotten mad at her husband first or just told him to remember to put clothes on the next time one of her friends was there but she totally did not.

Darren Star, the creator of the show said this about the episode:

There's a point at the end of the episode where, after the girls have gone on their separate adventures, they meet up at a movie theater and walk in with their arms around each other. There was a believable sense of warmth and camaraderie that allowed us to the more outrageous extremes. No matter what kind of adventures these girls go on, they are able to come back to the group, re-collect themselves, and touch base.

Oh yes the doorman was a cutie. Wasn't he Irish or something. And the way his jaw dropped when Sam came down and asked if he wanted to come up.

Not sure what he was Sam. He did have some sort of accent though and so cute when Char caught him.

Yep Katie, thats how i've been able to watch. I've rerented the same dvd for like 3 weeks straight. Good thing I work there, i'd have to pay for them.

Awww...come on just give in a buy the DVD they aren't that bad on ebay. The first seasons are probably around $20
