Of the main four girls I think the storylines were pretty evenly distributed throughout the seasons but there are minor characters like Stanford who I would have loved to have seen more of!

Also we never got much background on the girls I would have loved to have seen a few of the girls families

I know it's so funny! I think in the earlier season's Sams story lines weren't that good until probably the last couple of seasons

I only clicked on this thread to all but scream, "Charlotte!"

I don't even know if it's true she got less focus than the other three, but it always felt like it. Her sidekick role staying very sidekick-y. And, hey, if you think about it, she didn't change a whole lot in comparison. She was a lovable constant, and that usually correlates with less story. Samantha and Miranda went through a path of 'softening' and trusting in love/the virtue of being vulnerable, but Charlotte always was/had been, with only the trials and tribulations of life to deal with while that disposition was intact.

Yes, this! I agree, it always felt like she got less screen time

Thats funny, I had never looked at it like that before. I don't even know if we were meant to see growth in her character or if they always intended her to be that "side kick".

I think she had growth, but it wasn't an overhaul, lol. I'd like to think she became more liberated. Still, I wanted more of her.

Actually, maybe what it is is she had less scenes with an element of despair. It's a comedy, I know

, but you know what I mean ...

Hrmm, well I think she had more despair then comedy TBH. Out of all the girls I think Samantha (besides the cancer SL) had the least despair moments .. but in saying that I think she grew the most .. well her and Miranda are on par there.
