We were recently informed of the newly reinstated post count policy. With this new system, each message board here must have an average of 15 posts a day in order to remain at Fan Forum. 15 posts a day equates to 105 posts a week, or, in a 31 day month, 465 posts a month, which is as mathematically close as we could come to the 100 post per week requirement that we’ve had here for a number of years now.

Here are the numbers for Sex and the City:

Emily and I are very pleased with the numbers. And while we are not in jeopardy right now, lets keep the numbers increasing

I have a question though: if a board usually doesn't get 15 posts a day/105 a week but manages to get the 465 by the end of the month, does it still put the board in "danger"? I mean, it still got the average 465 at the end of the month so I'm guessing... no?

You've definitely helped I actually enjoy that we're a smaller board, it's simple and you can really get to know everyone a lot better

Well, from what I understand, it's based on the total at the end of the month and then that number is divided down to get the average per week, I don't think it matters that you don't get the specific numbers each day/week just that it happens. But I'll ask Emily and if she doesn't know, we can ask the mod managers
