I think that when you find someone special, someone who captures your whole heart and leaves a mark, then you will never completely get over them. No matter what happens, no matter how you kee living your life and what you settle for, they will always hold a place in your heart and in the back of your mind. You just try not to think about it, because it would hurt too much.

I read somewhere about some old movie star (can't remember who), who was head over heels in love with a woman and they were together for a while. But the relationship ended (not sure but I think they had an affair with each other). But he never got over her. She died before him and when he finally died, his wife made sure he would get burried next to his true love. You have to admire the wife for doing such thing. And to think, she was probably aware that he loved the other woman more than her, but she still stayed and accepted it. But ultimately decided it would only makes sense if the former lovers were next to each other, where they belonged, I guess.

That is so pretty Rae and I think you are absolutely right.
I mean we can´t know what went on behind closed door with CS but just seeing videos of them or pics or just hearing him talk about her made you realise that those 2 were head over heels in love with one another.And I have talked about this with Jules a lot - their relationship didn´t end bc they stopped loving each other or bc they fell out of love.It was bc of other circumstances but through all that their love still remained intact.I remember seeing pics of the softball game and it was held a week or so after their separation and I remember that Chad was still wearing his wedding band at that time and god knows for how long he wore it.He just didn´t want to let go.And it´s the same as far as the divorce paper goes,that he didn´t want to sign.
Ppl say he didn´t want to sign them bc of the "fraud" but if that was the case he could have asked Sophia to ask for a divorce instead of an annullment or if he was so willing to let her go - why didn´t he ask for a divorce and not wait for Sophia to do it?
It´s so easy to figure this out - Just if you listen to your heart.

Exactly, Sam, you can love endlessly, but only truly be meant for one person. At least that's what I choose to believe.

And since we can never truly know what goes on in people's private lives, I won't judge or talk about it. To me, the important thing is the love they had for eachother, the rest is just sad and unfortunate. They really believed the were meant to be together forever.

Oh, I remember another thing I was going to say. It's about the whole letting go/leaving thing. First of all, I doubt Chad wanted to let her go. And second of all, I think one thing that girls tend to do, is that they get dead set on preserving their pride and feelings. It's of course a good thing to keep your dignity and try and save your feelings, but it can be dangerous if you act too quickly. What I mean is, you get so focused on keeping your dignity after you've been hurt, that you make decisions too quickly and leave a relationship because you think it's the best thing to do.

And it's heartbreaking really, to think that they could have made it work if they had worked even harder, and not done some of the things they both did.

I hope what just said, didn't come off as wrong, and people think I blame any of them.

I really think that´s the case too with CS.
When they both have been hurt by it they are terrified to now go and give it another chance bc there is always the ? whether or not the other one would take them back.Whether it would work this time,etc.etc. and unfortunately the insecurities a person can have can be stronger than your actual feelings
