Lucky you. I'm in a college town and the radio still sucks. There's one really good rock station that I listen to whenever I do actually have the radio on, but other than that, there's nothing I really like ever on air.

Since we're talking about music EVERYONE has to go pick up The Mars Volta cd, Deloused in the Comatorium. They're sort of slow jazz rock, I guess, but their songs are so beautiful and poignant. So yeah.

How was everyones' Halloween? I went to a party and ate a bunch of candy so I'm feeling *****ty right now *lol*.

I had to answer the door for trick-or-treaters. There are like 1439856 kids in my building and they all traveled around in HERDS.

I ignored most of the kids that came to my door. I figured there would be more later, but it seems that there was a set time in our county for them to be out. Bah well...more candy for me.

I would've eaten the candy, but my mom bought Raisenettes. (sp?)

I wanted Reese's Peanutbutter Cups!

I turned off all the lights in my apartment and buried myself in my room (which is all the way in the back) so no one would stop. One of the little monsters stole my pumpkin and I was bitter and still am a bit.

Judy, I'll have to give a listen to some of their songs and see if I like them. I buy CDs all the time still, I just make sure I'm going to like them first.

Betsy - Oh darn. Raisinettes suck the big one. Next year, take control and buy the candy yourself, in the variety packs or whatever. We had the goodness, like Snickers and Milky Way and Tootsie Rolls and stuff....

Judy - I'll definitely give them a listen. I'm a whore for new bands.

I love Trapt!

And I will check out the other songs.

And in return recommend "Chocolate" by Snow Patrol. Hehe. All the candy talk makes that funny, but it really is the name of the song.

I'll definitely check it out when I get home.

I Will Love You is an awesome, awesome song. I could listen to it forever and it would never get old. And I've yet to hear a Trapt song that I didn't like.

I love Fisher...especially that song. I have the instrumental version, and I sing along to it all the time.

I've got some recs, if it's all the same:

"Bad Habits" - Michael Tolcher
"Waiting in Canada" - Jann Arden
"Sorry For Myself" - Jann Arden
"I Only Wanted Sex" - Jann Arden
"The Riverside" - Jessica Andrews
"Sidewalks" - Story Of The Year
"Marvelous Things" - Eisley
"Transatlanticism" - Death Cab For Cutie
"Passenger Seat" - Death Cab For Cutie
"Inside of Love" - Nada Surf
"True Love Waits - Radiohead
"Somebody For Someone" - The Corrs
"Beautiful" - Josh Zandman

Okay wow, I could go on all day.

Actually, just buy Jann's album Blood Red Cherry -- it's got all those songs on it, and she's friggin' amazing. I have almost all her CD's.

**Edited because apparently I can't spell the word "buy"...

Did you see last night? I was so mad because I missed it, it was on late due to the Chicago Bears playing.
I'm so voting for it too! And I still haven't seen yesterday's epi, but I have it downloaded so I hope to see it tomorrow

That's so creepy. When I came into this thread, I was listening to "Pretty Girl" and then I saw people posting about it.

Are we all psychically linked now? Has our insane love for Sophia bound us together?

Ignore me, I'm being a dork.

Janine: LOL, look at us with our Brad Pitt sigs. If only we could get a board with a lot of votes. We have some tough competition.
