I don't really think she has been anything since then, I think. Loved Karen and didn't like how the writers got rid of her character after S4.

Completely agree.

I always loved seeing her on screen so don't understand why she had to be written off.

She had great relationships with pretty everyone and I still think they was storylines left to tell with her, same with Whitey. Even if there wasn't, I still would have preferred seeing her as an supporting character than what we got.
