The Pulian storyline is an one of those storylines that the writers should have pursued or not really worried about imo.

Both of them have stories to tell their parents.

Lucas about how he use to be in love with Brooke, Julian how he use to be in love with Peyton.

At least with Julian though, it was never a love triangle....
