I met soeone who majored in history. She makes 6.75 an hour working in a museum. She'd make hardly any more teaching.

Yeah...I've said I'm an English major, but I'm not taking any major classes until I get my AA, so it's all Gen Ed 'til the Spring. I think it's best to not take classes for your major when you're first starting out in college and not really knowing for sure what it is you want to do. I mean, some people just know what they want, but a lot don't.

Sorry about the money situation though, I know how bad that sucks.

My major is Translation and Interpretation (Spanish/English/French) and so far I'm liking it very much, although I would love to be an English major.
