This episode truly brought in the drama.
Okay now, let me start with the time capsule.
Haley... can't be shocked with Nathan... you left him in the cold and he was angry all season 2. No need to look shocked over how he felt about the marriage during season 1.
Love that Nathan got to hear Lucas's true motivation for being around Dan last season.
Poor Brooke! Everyone saw too much of her body. And it's on the internet for people to see forever!
Brooke being upset with Mouth completely warranted with the invasion of privacy. I like that Brooke stood her ground with him.
Rachel... since I know the future I won't comment much but I'll just say she's trash over what she said to Jimmy after she helped him with the pepper spray, knowing what I know.
Jake. He and Peyton were so in love at that time! Seems like he and Whitey are the main ones who had a great time capsule video. Same with Peyton from my memory.

Okay now Jimmy Edwards, I felt bad for how he felt and being so isolated like that and to have everyone hear how much he hated them and pretty much his existence HOWEVER, let me be HAPPILY probably in the minority? I am not sure... but Jimmy can't blame all his friends for not keeping contact with him for a year since it's a two-way streak which is why I loved the exchange between Jimmy and Lucas when Lucas said and I quote, "But it is a two-way street. You know, our phones didn’t ring either."

Just because they lost track, it doesn't make them bad people. It takes 2 people to keep a friendship going. If anything I can understand Jimmy's frustration more towards Mouth because of what we were shown, Jimmy and Mouth were best friends, and then Mouth got popular and things changed... however with Lucas and everyone else, just no.


Haley's, "Halo" performance was so amazing!
And yes her love for Nathan is keeping her from going on tour which is a bit insane to me... but yeah.

I loved all the Kieth, Karen and Lucas stuff! Lucas telling Kieth that he would love for him to be his father.

I don't have much to say. The very well-done episode however I am going to be mean and agree with how Marcus was during this whole episode. Marcus to me was fearless and sort of ME. I am not feeling sad for a person who is shooting up the school especially if I am one of the hostages so I loved how he acted through the whole episode up until when the gunshots were heard and we saw how that shot changed his whole outlook and changed the outlook of everyone in that classroom.

Can I say the little moment that I loved was when Brooke saw the gun, the first thing she did was grab Peyton as a way to hold her back. It was just a small lovely moment of how great their friendship is when it's on point.
I felt so bad for Peyton!
I loved the Lucas/Peyton scenes and how she wanted him to stay with her.

Also, THANK Nathan for running back in the building because if Nathan never does that means Lucas doesn't follow him and finds Peyton in the Library!

I felt for Brooke, she wasn't in the building after the bullets but the day still hurts and haunts her like everyone else.


The ending scene with Dan and Kieth was frustrating to watch and a defining moment that Dan would never recover from. He got forever stamped as the true villain of the story and no sob story was going to change that although I find it more frustrating that he shot Kieth believing that Kieth tried to kill him by setting the fire to his dealership... so he killed his brother for no reason. So for Dan, I guess his mindset is that he killed the person who was going to take him out but nope.

Overall though, this was one hard yet powerful episode to watch.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't find the school shooting episode well done at all.

I couldn't take it seriously, the only thing I liked was Haley and the kids in the tutor center and Brooke. everything else was just bad.

The only thing I cared about in that moment was the show making it clear that Peyton wasn't in love with him anymore.

Agreed, plus I thought having Dan kill Keith in this episode took away a bit from what the message the episode was trying to sell too imo.

Weird to think that Keith and Dan actually got along at some point and Dan was been bullied at some point. It drives Dan crazy that he can’t prove that Keith had any involvement with the fire.

Still think the writers should have this episode should have picked up right after 3.16, so we could have seen everyone’s reactions to Keith’s death and Peyton being shot.

Dan is already still to feel some regret over killing Keith
