Completely agree. This is why I could never hate the character of Chris... all due to Tyler. When you think about it... his character is even "worse" because he indirectly came in between a power couple in Naley. But it's the way Tyler plays Chris. A musician that knows how to act. He made Chris way more likable because of his portrayal and talent on the screen. The dude that played Felix doesn't have the talent to pull off the character... those little added extras a talented actor can include which gives some slight empathy and connection to an otherwise controversial/on paper not great character.

Me too, Tim was always very loyal to Nathan (more than he probably deserved at times tbh)

Big time. This is why I was so disappointed in the show not giving Tim a better ending.

It was a big sacrifice, but I do think him being afraid of spending 3 months apart played a part too.

Oh for sure. Very disappointing somehow Haley couldn't have joined him. Seriously, I cannot fully explain how big these camps are for players that want to move forward with their game and take it to a serious level. Not sure the show explained it properly at all. Basically no one declines the invite unless you're injured and even if you're injured you STILL go just to make your presence known that you are passionate.

I think they were only friends it would have been fine, since they had no absolutely romantic chemistry whatsoever.

Me neither, Chris deserves most of the credit for Chris being as liked as he was.
