I'm not sure of Peyton's intentions in this episode, but I have faith they will be friends again-

I just wonder (since it seems obvious to me that the writers are going the LP route, if they could be as close as they were before 3.22) I guess that will depend in the way Mark handles the triangle, and that is what makes me a bit uneasy.

Mark will have to pull something out of his hat, because at this stage i'm not sure Brooke will be able to forgive her.

I see the LP set up too, they're not being real subtle about. I think alot of it will depend on where Brooke's frame of mind ends up being. If she can find someone else besides Lucas, she may not even care that LP are together.

I thought that too. I am hoping it wasn't just another way for her to get to spend time with Lucas.

See I can see a possible setup for LP, but nothing different from how they did it last season. I just don't think Lucas sees her in the way Peyton wants him to. As much as I don't like Brucas, I believe that Brooke was the one for Lucas when it was all said and done. I don't think he's going to get over her so easily and jump onto Team Peyton.

Mark just wants whatever couple that the fans want together.

I know you're a Brucas fan, but there was really no reason why they should have been together in Season Two aside from the Chopia fans. As far as I know Brucas were done with and over and all signs pointed to a LP reunion with Lucas being all vague about how he was talking about to Nathan in that one episode.

I honestly figured Brucas had their shot in Season One and it wasn't supposed to be anything else besides a footnote to LP, but the fans went bizerk for Chopia's marriage and relationship and thus we had a year and a half of Brucas.

If all the fans stopped supporting Naley tommorow they'd be done with and over by the time November sweeps got here. It's all about the largest fanbase with Mark, not the real story.

I guess the internet is both good and bad for television shows. Some listen too much to the fan reaction (ie Mark) and some just don't care and don't let it mess with their plan for the show ( see Rob Thomas of VM fame ).

Yeah, the sword is definitely double edged. Same goes with spoilers and the whatnot. Sometimes I wish i didn't know the state of fandom when it comes to the net, it might make me get less cranky about the show.
