they weren't awkward to watch but there's just wasn't chemistry, that's why her being mad for the sextape made even less sense: they were broken up, they clearly have any feelings for each other (they are definitely not "meant to be" material) and BN were drunk, i mean the facts speak for themselves

it seemed like they would've made sense when they were first together. but when we saw them, all they were is fights, dramas and parties. they had nothing in common but sex positions. definitely not a great relationship at all

i don't even consider it a storyline. i don't even know why it was done? was it to put how changed nathan was from that to being married and a son on the way? and brooke was in such a good place with chase, her past did not need to come back and bite her. especially something that no one knows anything about.

you're both right: they tried to rewrite history, because even if it would eventually had make sense that BN once hook up, writers never gave an hint in 4 seasons, if they wanted to make BN closer, they should simply give them more scenes not a random sextape

then it came at a really bad timing, they changed way more than everyone else, i don't get why it was necessary

if they wanted brooke/nathan closer, why not about Lucas' heart condition? That scene with Brooke and Lucas at the rivercourt that aired in the promo and we never saw, that's a good reason to talk to Nathan.

Brooke wouldn't understand Lucas still wanting to play even with his heart condition that he didn't want to tell anyone about. Nathan would understand still wanting to play even if it would eventually kill him.
