Because Brooke saw her company as having ties to her mother. And hearing the story that she wasn't wanted just absoultely killed any chance for them to have any sort of relationship. So In Brooke's eyes, Clothes/Bros connected her to Victoria, there would be no end. And Brooke doesn't need a big company to be successful. And now after being the owner of a big company, she can start her own company. They are her designs. I don't know what Victoria can do without the orignal Boroke Davis? The reason for her success is her unique style.

If Brooe is not the creator the line's won't be the same, if people buy the clothes it's bc of Brooke's talent and people are gonna realize it's not the same anymore.
The company without Brooke's talent is not c/b anymore!
I'm sure Victoria doesn't even know why it's called C/B

I remember in 501 when she told Brooke she had to fire that employee (later we saw she was Rachel), victoria said that it was Brooke's company and that she just was working there

And out of desperation, Brooke went to her mother for help. Victoria may be a horrible person and mother, she knows the business. And in Season 6 Brooke explained that the global company, the deals, everything was all Victoria. She got everyone to take notice in Brooke's company.

I'm sure in time Brooke would have gotten the recognition she deserved with her own company, but not that quickly. In just four or so short years, Brooke became this global dynasty that is making more money than she could have ever imagined. So Victoria did a lot for the success of the business. And then it all crumbled when Brooke wanted to really kick back and live in Tree Hill, that's when Victoria let the claws come out. She belittled everything Brooke said and did and always had harsh words for her friends in Tree Hill, her real family.

That's my point. I agree with Brooke, what can Victoria sell without Brooke's designs. The line was created out of Brooke's imaination and sharp tenacity to change the way women view sexy and beautiful. Victoria may have a lot to do with bringing the company overseas and making it more successful than Brooke could have ever imagined, but Victoria did not make those clothes that Brooke did in high school. She was not part of the website that Mouth created for Brooke to sell her clothes online. I don't think Victoria even knows about the pre Clothes/Bros website that was created.

Brooke is the real designer and will make a company better than clothes/bros. She now knows how to get things done and has Millie right beside her for everything. Little 18 year old Brooke Davis is in the past, 23 year old Brooke Davis is back with a vengence. I'm intrigued to see how her designs of the now and future can beat Victoria's of the Brooke Davis past.

Sorry, I got off track a little bit. I just have a lot to say when it comes to Brooke/Victoria

you know, i'm on that same path, Kam. I believe this thread was started at the beginning of Season 5 before Victoria and her evil ways were really discovered. So usually when the names Victoria/Brooke are in teh same setence, bad thoughts come to mind. But we have to think of something.
