SOPHIA BUSH DIRECTS THE EPISODE — Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) returns to the stage and Brooke (Sophia Bush) receives life-changing news. Meanwhile, Dan Scott (Paul Johannson) returns to Tree Hill much to the chagrin of Nathan (James Lafferty), who is about to sign a new NBA contract with the help of his agent Clay (Robert Buckley). Austin Nichols, Shantel VanSanten, Lee Norris and Jackson Brundage also star.

I liked the episode.

I thought Sophia did an AMAZING job with the directing, and I am not just saying that bc I am a fan. Considering this is her first time directing an episode, she really did a remarakable job, and she was even in lots of scenes herself, so props to her.

The episode wasn´t that boring like some people are saying. I thought it was ok. Milli annoys me, bc I don´t see how in one episode she could have changed so drastically. She went from taking the pills to lose weight to suddenly taking coke and being an arrogant bitch that takes Brooke´s clothes.

Brooke slapping Rachel, I kinda thought she deserved it, but on the other hand I also thought it was a bit much. I hope we see more of them and their relationship now that Dan and Rachel are staying.

Congrats to Sophia. She did a great job, usually when actors direct they have minimal scenes but she had a lot of emotional scenes so I'm sure that wasn't easy for her. It sucks that writing was really bad but that's not her fault.

Loved Brooke slapping Rachel, she totally deserved it. After everything Brooke did for her, she basically said it was her fault she relapsed.

BJu - I don't know in what world they are living, it's like s6 never happened. They are not ready for children,marriage etc. Drama with Alex is tiring and it reminded me of LP + the way Julian left Brooke for Alex without saying anything was really lame. Congrats Mark on ruining yet another couple.

I liked this episode, the Brooke scenes anyways. Clay/Quinn are growing on me too, mostly because I FREAKIN LOVE CLAY.

I agree. I don´t think they are ready for children at all. Especially bc it seems that Brooke wants a kid for all the different reasons, and it seems that her insecurities when it comes to Alex are the biggest factor behind her wanting a kid. I mean the scene where shes standing in front of the mirror. "Can´t I get the boy and the baby". She just wants it bc everyone else wants it, it seems, that way in my eyes at least. And yes, I hate how much they are using the insecurities . I am sick of it.

Every word that comes out of Brooke´s mouth is about Alex. I get it, she is insecure and that´s basically the storyline they had for her and Julian up until now, but where´s the Brooke we got to know in the past 2 seasons?
