Seriously I pretend that season four didn't exist at all. Oh yeah, trust me. I sure do pretend that very well.

I pretend that everything in season four NEVER happens, and if people talk about them, I act like it's just fanfics they are talking about rather than the actual show itself.

When I start working (and have more money

) I plan on buying all seasons, but I seriously don´t think I will be buying s 4. And IF I do, it will be just to have the whole dvd set, I will never watch it again though

That's why I bought S4, I just wanted to have the set. But then I broke that reasoning by refusing to buy S5. Even though I love the BL towards the end of that season I just can't buy it knowing what Mark does next, and the idea of anymore of my money going to him just annoys me.

LOL I'm the same way. I have Seasons 1-3 on DVD and then bought season 5 and I'll buy season 6 but I will not buy season 4 because there is just no point. It never happened in my mind.

Yah, that's so true. Sadly as it is, I already bought all the package of seasons.

I wish that I didn't buy season four and five, but now I am not going to buy six since there'll be another season after season after season.

I am ok with season 5. I mean it´s not my fav but there are some cute moments between BL. And LP don´t annoy me as much as they used to, so it´s ok. But season 4 - the way they looked, the way they wrote them, especially Brooke. She had noone to turn to, except for Haley in s 4 and Haley had her own problems to deal with and the fact that they put Brooke with Rachel and she had no interaction with the other´s just made it seem as if she wasn´t even one of the core 5. As if she was an outcast. And the stuff they had Brooke say. Ew.

I actually like s4 better for BL than I do s6, but I HATE that stupid season for destroying Brooke's character.

I like season 6 - I mean I hate that there is no BL, but I really enjoyed this season for the most part, but this was also the season where I made my piece with LP and have watched their scenes, instead of fastforwarding through them like before.

Wooow.......seriously? I can't ever make peace with LP. It's not even just about the cheating, it's about how terribly their reunion was written. And the way Mark, once again, trampled on the BL storyline just to prop his blond obsession up. I mean, seriously, the BL dream in episode 601? And after the BLA couch scene the season before? And don't get me started on the flash backs of season 3! Or the fact that Lucas didn't even notice when Brooke was beaten up.

No, no...I really hated this season. Brooke/Sam were good though. And Haley had like, an entire episode of storyline. Woot.

Oh I agree about that, I really do. I can´t even tell you how much I cringed watching 601, 602 and all those episodes where they were all cuddly and blah. But then something changed in the episode when they realised that there were problems with Peyton´s pregnancy, and Peyton might die. I just really enjoyed that episode, I think I watched it a few times. The way they were written and the way they wrote Peyton, it just made me love her again. The Peyton that she once used to be. I hated her for a really long time. First part of s 6 I couldn´t stand her but the fact that she for the first time ever showed selflessness, just broke my heart. And after that, I really enjoyed it - Peyton´s scenes as well as LP. But I am in no way a LP fan. That´d actually have to mean me enjoying other scenes as well, like say season 4 - and I´d rather watch 10 thriller movies then that season again

Even though I didn't watch this season

I couldn't have sat through it, I've watched certain scenes from S6 but I don't plan on ever watching full episodes. It's a combination of factors, the lack of BL, the LP reunion, the way yet again they have to put down BL in a lame attempt to make people believe in LP, the way Brooke's storyline in S5 was wanting a baby and then it's completely forgotten and they make Peyton pregnant, the lack of core group scenes, there are just so many things wrong with it. And don't even get me started on the finale where we had no BL, LH or LN scenes in what probably is the final episode with all five.

Hmm...didn't see that episode. But I have to ask, when you said she showed "selflessness", was it that mock selflessness she showed in season 5 when she told Lucas that she was letting him go for him?

Cause that was just so pathetic....

Honestly, many of the reasons why I can't watch L/P in this season and in parts of s4 was because of how out of character Mark wrote Peyton...she was all bubbly and happy like Brooke, and the only time Peyton's ever been like that was with Jake. It was just...everything was turned up side down for LP. And just like Brucas4life mentioned, Brooke's baby storyline was thrown out the window for LP and Peyton's career drive was completely ignored because it provided "problems" for the golden couple. It was all ridiculous.

I did hear the season was better written than season 4, though.

That's exactly it, they tried to change Peyton and make her happier, more like Brooke. Wouldn't it just have made more sense for BL to be together, than for them to attempt to change a character. And in doing so I found the few things I liked about Peyton, they actually took away, she used to be far more independent in Season 2 and they made her into such a weak character, always the victim, and imo obsessive over Lucas. I didn't like her after what happened in Season 1 but in Season 2 I found myself at least liking her scenes, but then S4, S5 and S6 imo they completely wrecked her character. Yes you want characters to grow as the show progresses, but the thing is, I don't think she did grow, if anything in S5 she looked worse than ever. It's one of the main reasons why i could never get behind LP, I just don't believe they bring out good in one another, whereas I believe BL did.

Yes when BL were together Brooke was insecure at times but imo that's perfectly understandable given what had happened last time. And in the end she was right to be worried about it as looked what happened, Peyton stabbed her in the back yet again and Lucas failed to fight for her and get her back.

I don't care what they say, we didn't get closure. Just look at 505, that was evidence enough for me. And then they fail to even address that issue, it's like they expect us to forget that even happened. The writing on this show is just unbelievable.
