That's what gets me so angry, you can't rewrite history and change things just to suit the direction you now decide you want to go in. It's terrible writing. And imo you shouldn't have to put down another relationship/couple in order to boost another one. It doesn't make people rethink and go oh actually I was wrong and I'm going to ship LP now, it just makes the fans mad and if anything increase their dislike of them. They don't understand the fans at all.

LUCAS: (Takes a deep breath.) I wasn’t ready to lose you yet. (Shrugs)
(Brooke is touched and smiles at him.)

BROOKE: (Speechless) Yeah, of course.
(She rushes forward and hugs him. Lucas smiles happily.)

The thing that was really great about 2x17 for me was that you could tell just how much Lucas actually cared. It wasn't 'oh, I'm in love with this girl so I'm going to keep her here because I'm selfish' but he was actually thinking of her and where her home is, her friends, her life. And even if nothing ever happened between them again, Lucas still did that for her because he truly cared. Loved it.

What ever happened to that Lucas? Did he hit his head and we don't know?

Aw I loved that scene so much.

It really is better just to look at the show as ending at the end of S3 if you are a BL fan. And then from then on it's a different show.

Because otherwise it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Just look at all the amazing moments BL had, and then we are expected to believe that they all meant nothing?
