Nope, it's a European thing...but there are more countries in it...this year Australia is in it as well.... it's pretty big.

No, it's a contest where every country sends one singer/band with one new song and countries have to vote which song is best (which is mostly about politics and not at all about which song is best )

and then one country wins the contest and hosts Eurovision the next year.
