{ 5.05: Don't Dream It's Over. }

Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) confronts Peyton (Hilarie Burton) about her harsh treatment of Lindsey (guest star Michaela McManus, "The Beautiful Lie").

Brooke (Sophia Bush) intervenes when Victoria (guest star Daphne Zuniga, "Melrose Place") meddles with Peyton's record label.

Nathan (James Lafferty) grows closer to Jamie's (guest star Jackson Brundage) live-in nanny, Carrie (guest star Torrey DeVitto, "Beautiful People"), while Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) is challenged by her difficult student Quentin (guest star Robbie Jones).

Mouth (Lee Norris) is torn between loyalty to his co-workers and his illicit affair with his boss Alice (guest star Kelly Collins Lintz, "Surface").

Antwon Tanner also stars. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Mark Schwahn.

The Brooke/Victoria scenes broke my heart

I actually was surprised bc I did like the episode even though I thought I wouldn´t at all.

First of all there was way too little Brooke scenes

He should give her more

I liked the BP scenes because Peyton stood up to Victoria for Brooke´s sake and that´s what I have been waiting to happen almost all season.Brooke has been there for her over and over again and Peyton has just sort of proved that she doesn´t care anymore.It´s time to come clean and voice her oppinion towards Victoria no matter the consequences.
When Victoria says to Peyton that it looks like she didn´t have any mothers - it was really mean whether or not you are a fan of Peytons,there are just some lines you shouldn´t cross and Victoria just crossed that line even though it wasn´t necessary at all but then again I absolutely loved Peyton´s comeback.You could tell she hit a nerve with Victoria by saying that and I did think some things would change and that Victoria would be more of a mother to Brooke than her business partner but I guess not.

The last B/V scene was heartbreaking.When I just watched it I was so happy that Brooke got the answer she wanted and then I realised it was a dream and felt bad for her but when I saw that Brooke actually went to follow up on her dream and express her feelings and her mother still rejecting her and making Brooke think that she means nothing to her - that was heartbreaking

You could see at the end that Brooke has finally given up on trying to make a mother/daughter relationship work with Victoria.She has finally come to terms with that she has no reason to call her mom anymore but Victoria is all she is to her.

The Brooke/Milecent scenes are cute.It´s nice to see that they have a bit of a friendship that isn´t only based on the whole them working together and one being the boss while the other is an employee.

The LL scenes were amazingly cute,I have to admit.Lindsay is so beautiful and Lucas´ dream sort of showed me that when he takes out the ring and smiles and she then walks in and he asks her - that it has nothing to do with Peyton but that he actually wants to marry Lindsay,impo of course.Peyton laying on the bed and saying no was sort of a little bit funny but also showed the fear Lucas has inside of him,that some other person might reject him too and bring him the same pain he felt when Peyton said no.

The last LP scene was very good as well.I am shocked even to think that but I liked it very much.Not bc of the characters like that but bc of the dialogue.I think the scene was perfectly written and it showed the characters as the more mature and grown up ppl they have become over their years.The scene was very intense and it was definitely something OTH hasn´t done before and Chad did an amazing job.The angry,the disappointed,the sad expressions - he hit them all really and so did Hilarie for most parts

The NHJ stuff was adorable.I was glad to see that Jaime was more in this episode and that he was being a normal 4 year old kid that doesn´t get where his grandpa is.I also liked the way NH dealed with the situation.They definitely seemed more mature than just a couple of 21-olds.

Carrie is completely insane

Mouth and his boss storyline --- we really could deal with less of that.I would rather watch him and Milicent than him and his boss.

All in all it was a pretty good episode

I thought the same thing lol. I think Chad was great and loved Lucas's side. Peyton's not so much cause she kinda freaked me out when she started throwing books lol.

I loved Brooke in this episode and the fact she's taking a stand .
At the beginning I thought she would let her mother steer her company but I was pleasantly surprised by her last quote and her decision at the end of the episode .
About Owen and Brooke , it sounds weird because I'm a huge Brucas fan but I find him really cute and nice .I think Brooke and him could make a cute couple and maybe when Lucas will see her with another man , he'll realize he is still in love with her , at least I hope so

I loved Brooke in this episode. I still hate the nanny stoyrline because it has been played over and over again on other shows. But Soph rocked all of her scenes.

She was really geat esp there last scene were she told Victoria that she loved her and all she said was "what ever" that was so sad and Sophia played that so well i felt really sorry for her.

sophia/brooke ;; of course, she rocked. the victoria/brooke scene broke my freaking heart. all she wants is for her mother to appreciate her and tell her she's doing a good job, but she never will. when she cried, it broke my heart. sophia plays that stuff so well.

haley/nate/jamie/skills/crazy nanny ;; okay...so naley have been really awesome this season. and jamie pwns my life. and skills with jamies pwns me even more. skills is so freaking funny. as for carrie, that girl has got to go! seriously.

lucas/lindsey ;; i do not like her. the end.

brooke/peyton ;; go p.sawyer for sticking it up bitchtoria! nicely done. these two slay me.

lucas/peyton ;; love love and more freaking love. the angst! angst! i loooove angst! and their scene in her office seriously made me cry like a baby! {but i was crying for happy reasons...sorta haha}. gah, i need these two back together.

I didn't realize at first it was a dream, but it was so sad when Jamie was saying mommy and Haley arrived, but he said, no i want to see my other mommy

Our girl is incredible, i mean she blows me away with every scene.

BV - Broke my heart.

LP - Supposed to be an incredible destined love story..did i blink and miss it?

Mouth and his boss - Hate it.

Jamie/Skills - i love the interaction..skills cracks me up..and Jamie is adorable.

The weird nanny - why is she there?

Lindsay - I like her, Peyton is a total b-itch to her.

BL - oh yeah thats right, there was none! .. The biggest dissapointment of all..i want me some BL..those two own my heart!

there are things I like and others I didn't:

Brooke: she rocked like always

Brooke/Victoria: Heartbreaking, i felt so bad for brooke esp when she called her stupid and the end

Peyton: I love her for sticking up for Brooke but she's such a major b**** to lindsey

Haley: I love her anytime

Carrie: Please make her go away I hate her so much for hitting on Nathan while Haley's so nice to her. she kinda creeps me out now (poor Jamie)

jamie: the sweetest kid, i loved him when he played the guitar. And he was so cute being afraid of dan

Lindsey: I weirdly really like her

Lucas: He's totally lost between L and P and I don't like that. But I liked his reaction with Quentin

Lucas//Peyton: To me it's just a sign they're not meant to be. She went all psycho on him telling him he ruined it while she did!

I'm too lazy to type my review so I copied mine from CMM's board.

So here we go.

The preview of the episode nearly killed me. Carrie + NHJ = angry fans!

I hate Carrie. I hate Carrie. I hate Carrie.
She's a slut. She's a slut. She's a slut.

I'm still waiting for Peyton to slap Victoria. If she don't slap her, I'll slap her. Always want to do that. I hate Victoria.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I love Jamie, he is soooo adorable. I was upset that there's no Lucas/Jamie or Brooke/Jamie but I am glad there's Jamie/Skills. The game they were playing a game called "Guitar Hero" or something like that.

I do love Peyton. But in this episode, she's annoying bitch. And I knew threesome triangle is going to come back. At least Brooke is not in it. whew! I love her.

Brooke. I absolutely love her. She usually is my fave character but it's Jamie and who can blame me. Brooke should fire Victoria. She's a pain in the ass. Brooke's own the company, not her. And Victoria's like controlling things, like she owns to company. Victoria does not own the company, Brooke is. She is probably want fame, and money. Brooke is talented.

And LP? I still rooting for them and BL, but I don't want to talk about it. Too much drama.
And I do like Lindsay, but sometimes she's annoying.

And I totally agree that Mouth should have a story line. I love Mouth, and I don't want him to be gone. Give him a story line.

It's weird that we barely see Lucas in this episode.

And I want Karen to come back, and I want to see Lily.

I love Skills, end of story. I do feel sorry for him, for Jamie asking hard question. I would do that. He'll do the puppy face, and skills would give him what he wants.

And I know that Jamie's grandparents are somewhere not in Tree Hill, but I think they should come back. Because I think Jamie should have a relationship with them. Everyone should know their grandparents. And look at right now, Jamie doesn't have grandparents. All he have is Uncles/Aunts, and his parents.AND I DID NOT INCLUDE DAN!

So it was definitely nice to be back in the present... well, at least the characters' present. I liked that this episode was really edgy; a lot of bothersome things going on all at once. Mia missing, Jamie's curiosity about his grandpa, crazy Carrie and her crazy skinny dipping (seriously, only Brooke can get away with going naked in others' swimming facilities, come on), bitch Victoria. I just loved it.

As for Sophia, she once again stole the show, even with her minimal scenes. As soon as she woke up from her dream, I was silently praying "don't do it, Brooke, don't do it!" But of course I knew she would, and I knew her mother was going to just brush her off completely. But I didn't expect to be so heartbroken! Sophia played that so well, I just wanted to give her a hug. And two thumbs up for Peyton for kicking back at Victoria, although a slap really could have upped the scene for me.

*Is waiting for Brooke to fire Victoria*

Oooooh oh oh! And the bartender! That was a very enjoyable scene as well. He's waayyyyy cute, and I loved his interaction with Brooke. Although, no one will ever be as great with BD as LS.
