Goth Brooke? Seriously? Why? Yes, Brooke would be devastated if Peyton died. But would she really go all goth? That's not in Brooke's character at all.
Someone mentioned this earlier this week but I'm not sure who but yes Brooke would be devasted and she would place some blame on herself for not keeping Peyton by her side during the shooting but her turning goth was more of a sentiment to Peyton. She became Peyton because she was dealing with the guilt of letting her die when she feels she could have helped her.

I actually really enjoyed her scene as Goth!Brooke. She had so much anger and resentment. It brought tears to my eyes when she yelled at Lucas to go away.

I'm not sure if I liked it or hated it yet because like I said, I loved Goth!Brooke and I immensely loved my Uncle Keith, especially when he paid a visit to Danny Boy and the NH scene at the end keeled me because Joie is amazing but other than that the whole Lucas going back to tell Peyton he loves her? Wha? What about your mother? Your friend Haley that could very well be dying and losing her baby? I just hate that in two episodes it's already turned into the Lucas and Peyton show.

I guess I never thought about her becoming Peyton. That would make sense. But I don't really think she'd take it that far.

And yes, I loved thr nh scene at the end. So precious!

I guess the reason I believed it is because I see how good of friends they really were and in a sense still are, even after Lucas. They're all each other had and given the circumstances of her death, to me, it makes perfect sense.

Last night was really the only time this season that my heart fluttered when I saw NH. I'm so on and off when it comes to those two that it takes a lot for me to feel anything for them.

If Peyton died, I would totally believe Brooke turning to alcohol and partying and wasting her life away that way. It seems to me a logical choice for her character to react that way. Goth, I don't know.

I don't think she became Peyton, that's a little too far and a little 'woe is me' for Brooke. More Peyton's style. Like Betsy said, she would deny she is sad, deny Peyton, not let anyone else in and party her life away. I could even buy drugs, random sex, drinking, but a goth? Those drawings she made fun of Peyton for a year ago? I can't see it.

Eh. I wasn't too fond of the Brooke Goth thing either. It just doesn't fit Brooke's character at all. The idea of hiding her pain in alcohol would have definitely been a better fit for Brooke.

It was interesting to see but stupid all the same. Sure you can become like Peyton, but when was Peyton ever like that?

IT's just another way to remind us that this show is essential about Peyton.

Peyton dies....Brooke turns into an extreme form of Peyton.

When does Brooke have a decent story line?

And another thing pissing me off is people saying that Peyton crawled back to Brooke. As a Brooke fan that sounds good to me but that wasn't how it went down at all. Brooke sought out Peyton. She came to find her and by sitting down and talking with her that was Brooke's way of saying she needed Peyton. Before Peyton even asked if they could be friends again. And who was the first to pull who into a hug? Brooke.

I just read the first post. Peyton and Brooke try to patch things up? I'm not sure whether I should be happy or sad about that. And who's Daunte? I'm starting to really dislike Peyton.

The concept itself of this vision/dream/alternate reality -whatever it is or want to call it- is completely ludicrous.

That picture of Chris Keller on the wall is the only thing I've ever cared about of this Season.

Peyton has reached out to Brooke before, but she wasn't the one who did it in 409/410, definitely.

Let's see:

Brooke asked Peyton nicely what Lucas said, and then they sort of bonded/laughed over the "boys are dumb" comment made by Brooke.
Brooke told Lucas to go to Peyton because she saw how miserable Peyton was and she realized she wanted what's best for her.
Brooke went to Peyton (instead of calling) to tell her that Lucas and Haley are at the hospital.
Brooke reached out for the hug in the hospital.
Brooke went to Peyton under the bridge.
Brooke comforted Peyton.
Brooke told Lucas to wake up for Peyton.
