Sophia Bush - 4.07 "All these things that ive done" Discussion

"AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL" PARTICIPANT GUEST STARS - Brooke (Sophia Bush) has her hands full with her model (guest starring a participant from "America's Next Top Model") for the T.A.R.T. fashion show and a new boyfriend (guest star Reynaldo Valentin). Rachel (Danneel Harris) makes the cover of "Maxim," causing chaos at Tree Hill High. Meanwhile, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) learns of Nathan's (James Lafferty) dealings with Daunte (guest star Rick Fox, "Oz"), and ultimately has to choose between Nathan and his love for basketball. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) takes on a babysitting job only to find herself in over her head and Peyton's (Hilarie Burton) half-brother, Derek (guest star Ernest Waddell, "Law & Order: SVU"), forces her to confront her deepest fears.

All These Things That I've Done

I actually haven't participated in an episode discussion in a long while but I felt the need to discuss tonight's episode because on the Brooke end I thought it was fairly enjoyable and good. I could really care less what happened with Nick, I mainly enjoyed the Fashion aspect of her storyline. She was so uberly excited about her chances and the fact that so many designers were interested. It was good to see Brooke focusing on something positive in her life for once that made her happy.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Rachel/Nick thing because it was obviously played out on screen that Rachel was the seducer but I'm not really sure who to believe. I hope we actually find out what happened behind that closed door.

I've always enjoyed the Rachel/Brooke aspect of the show whether it be hatred or friendship because I think they both need someone in their lives that they can take their anger out on but rebound from it just like that. They're both similiar in many ways, Brooke's just obviously become the more mature one, that they feel that sense of belonging when they're together and I enjoy that. I really was in awe at their scene in the end that I believe I got a little misty eyed because you could see the clear defeat in Brooke's eyes and also her humilation at admiting she was wrong. But there was Rachel, ready to be her friend and not say 'I told you so'

Next Week: I find it eerie and strange that whenever they show a B/L/P moment during previews that they always seem to make in upbeat and light hearted like this is something we should take lightly. As much as I'm trying a repeat S1 next week looks strangely inticing considering Lucas is STILL denying any romantic connekshun with Peyton. He really wants her? Doesn't seem like it! Oh, and I'm rewatching it over and over again trying to figure out what exactly Brooke said that they had to bleep. Unless that was just for dramatic effect.

Good episode though, I felt horrible for Brooke. Poor girl.

And I agree 100% with you about the whole Lucas denying his feelings for Peyton thing.

I was thrilled to see Brooke being so happy and excited and focused on something other than boys. Its shows that boys should not take over your life, even if you are alone there is something else that can make you happy.

Also it was good to see Mouth getting some well deserved

The whole Rachel/Nick, I personally like to see a changed Rachel just like how Brooke and Nathan has changed, for the better that is. Yeah I know there's gotta be some vixen to stir up drama but Rachel and Brooke are a lot alike. They can be very blunt and completely honest with each other one minute and let it go and be freinds again. I am glad to see that they have grown close this season. I just hate to see another person betray/back stab Brooke just when she's letting someone in her life.

When I saw the beginning scenes where B&R were jumping for joy about the Maxim cover I was happy to see that frienship but the I see the whole seduction scene I was like,

oh geez why Rachel why?!?!? Not sure who to really believe...did Rachel just try to see if something would happen with Nick to test him in order to protect Brooke or is Nick just an ass? or both? but I'm glad it's over with Nick but then in the previews, Brooke telling Lucas she miss him?

I did enjoy angry Brooke, I thought one slap she was done cause that's usually how many slaps she give Peyton but two, holy crap ouch! and he deserved it! Rachel did look genuinly hurt that Brooke didn't believe her and when she came back to Rachels, that was a nice sincere

And if I hear one more "save me" from Peyton

ARUGH!!!

Yes I too would like to find out what word that was

. It can't be the f word, she's said the b word many times...hmm...anyone have a guess?

Also, how cute was Brooke with the curled hair and all the outfits, adorable! and Gigi too, super cute, yah, good for Mouth. I knew he would make the right choice!

I was sad to see still all Brooke had was either related to fashion or Nick but I enjoyed it better than last week. I enjoyed the scenes she had with Rachel and Mouth. Plus it was awesome to see her bitchslap Nick twice.

Im glad the slap happened. I was all like "SLAP HIM, BROOKE" ...and she did. twice. so, that was awesome. something i wanted her to do to lucas in S1.

And, i actually felt her last night. so that was good...cuz last week i wanted her off my screen...which was just unbelievable for me to admit.
