I watched my sister go through labor in the hospital, and deliver her son, and I can't imagine that happening in her home. Too many risks!

if I had a home birth with my first son, he wouldn't be alive. I don't recommend it.

I don't recommend it either. Every mom is different, so you just don't know what could happen.

yes, and even every birth is different. My first one was with complications, the second one quick and swift, the third difficult but without complications. You just never know.
