I agree with your list, Evie. Mostly I just want Delta to really connect with the music, as long as she writes songs from the heart I'm sure I'll love it.

Wow I can't believe that! A new album this year? Feels like COTU was only out a few months ago, although albums do tend to feel brand new to me for like a year at least.

What I would like on the next album:

Songs that you can tell Delta's written at the piano and songs that have Delta playing piano on them
I was listening to The Speed of Life the other day and I was thinking how that's the kind of mood I love in a Delta song so I'd love another song or few like that, not necessarily with that theme but with that mood
Some good old ballads
Meaningful songs that Delta does so well

That sounds like a good plan to not believe anything else

I really hope we do get the album this year, it is wonderful to have it so soon after COTU & not have a wait so I hope that since it is going well she is able to release it soon after it is done
