The Born to Try singer met her longhaired lover last year while on her Wings of the World tour.

I know! I love when she surprises us like that

I saw a lot of people guessing those lyrics and I was kind of hoping it would be something else

Oh well, I'm excited we're getting new music!

I'm surprised by those lyrics, but she's also come a long way from who she was when she first started. I think its good to have some growth & new music is always nice

That is true. I wouldn't expect her music to still be the same but I do think you can grow as an artist and still write meaningful songs. It could be fun for Delta to do something completely different though.

I'm also really glad she'll have new music out before The Voice starts so she can promote it on there

I feel the same way. But I think she can have a little fun, while also having the meaningful songs too

ETA: I don't know what to think about the song but I liked it. Its different, but it also felt familiar still I don't know

I need to hear it more to really get an opinion on it

If she was getting pictures taken then (which it looks like) can we get all of those?

I completely agree that its different, but its good so I like it too. The lyrics did have me wondering what exactly we were getting but I don't think it went completely to a new place. Musically its still feels her, while still being different, then even lyrically although obviously more grown still feels right. I don't know if I'm making sense, could just be babbling now
