Oh, thanks, Ellie! I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I should look it up. I love when you can find a place that has the style you like, at an affordable price (so you can buy more! ).

I got my top from Sportsgirl actually. (I saw Delta's green top again too ). Apparently they'd only ordered a few of this particular one into selected stores. There was one left, and it was a bit too big. The last one in my size was being held for someone who never picked it up, so I got that one. I was so pleased.
Yes, live for the moment! And I got my tax back the other day, so...hehe, time for more shopping! Just don't think about those bank statements.

Temt is definitely awesome, and Valley girl is pretty similar too, and their prices are brilliant. I mean, good pants for $20, jeans for $30 sometimes, you can't beat that. And it's good quality stuff too.

Aww that's great you got that top! What does it look like? or colour at least? I was in Sportsgirl today too (saw delta's top too!) and they had some good stuff in there.

Yeah, the monosyllabic thing is like her trademark. There are only a few celebs other than Delta that I'd wait in line for hours on end to meet (knowing they'd be worth the wait).

Ooh, I'd say you're more than entitled to celebrate with a little extra spendage then. Yeah, I'm trying to put them in the back of my mind. At least till the next one arrives in the mail.

Ah, a Valley Girl opened here just recently, I'll have to have a nose around next time. They are good prices. Especially with the way pants are priced. Plus trends change like the wind, and dressy tops can get expensive. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks, I'm glad I could share my excitement about it here. It's got skinny straps, and is kind of chemise-like with some light beading on the chest area and sequin detail along the edging. It flows loosely, and is sheer from the bust down. Oh, and it's a soft green colour, btw. I'll have to post some pics from my night out to show you all. Yay, for the Delta top spotting! Yeah, I was most impressed with all the pretty new stuff they have in. Sometimes they go through lulls, but the spring line is all quite exciting.

You know the one in near us Kat? My friend dragged me in there and I was like this is the devillllll shop and the little teen boppers that work there all glared at me.
I like Sportsgirl/Portmans for tops, the surf stores for pants, and I shop a lot in the dress sections of Myer and David Jones. I love scouting around the Chapel St for special occasion jewellery and clothing too. I'm not a fan of Supre either, Dana. Some fo those skirts are seriously tiny! The store near us is particularly bad, I agree.

Yeah, I could shop along there all day. Actually I have shopped there all day, many times. Ooh, lucky you. Deakin's about 8 mins from Chadstone, so I guess that's okay.

Indeed!

I'm gonna have to head off now. Must take a shower, and get through some more reading for my research class before bed.

Great chatting Dana, and Ellie! Have a good night, both of you, and I'll TTYS, I'm sure.

Night!

Definitely have a look! Both Temt and Valleygirl are similiar, though I think Temt is a bit of a more older look I guess you can say? say late teens-20s and that sort of aim, where as VG is a younger look. They have similar stuff, good prices, I've just noticed Temt has more suit like stuff and things like that. More of a portmans feel when I go in there.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I saw that or not, but it does sound so pretty! You'll definitely have to give us some piccies! But yeah, they did have some nice stuff, actually, there's a lot of nice stuff coming out now, especially with winter on the way out.

Well, yes, half the time they made their sizes too damn small and they're all..yeah! But I know what you mean. Though, I have gotten some good pants from there, you just have to hunt for them. I have a pair I adore and they were only $10!

I like Bocco I think it is for Jeans, I got the BEST pair of jeans ever from there last year and I just live in them. They were cheap too. Obviously i'm a bit of a bargain hunter.. I just love finding good quality stuff at a good price. I think I've been a poor uni student for too long! Though I do splurge from time to time. At Colorado especially. I have a shoe fetish with them!

And supre, omg! that store just makes me cringe they call them clothes?!! They are like...hankerchiefs!

Ahhh, I'm such the autograph whore. I love meeting people I've met millions of Buffy/Angel cast members, and also footballers, and I've never once been disappointed ... but I know what you mean. And I agree, I get the impression that Avril wouldn't be one of the most fun people in the world to meet.

I don't just collect random autographs, btw *g* I don't go to all the signings of anything ever just to get signed things ... only people that I actually have an interest in meeting!

Thought it was about time I venture into here considering it's moving so fast.

YAYness for a board of our own, huh?! I didn't think we'd actually get one till Delta offical released IE in American. But we must have been pretty popular. I'm so excited. I can't wait till we get more people and some colour into this board. What's everyone thinking for colours? I'm thinking red and gold like that Bazaar shoot outfit.

I have a feeling we may not have Temt in Melbourne, Ellie. I did some searches and the locations I found were all NSW and QLD. Hopefully some will open here though. We didn't have VG till a few months ago... I think it must be punishment for having all the designer stores here. We're chain store deprived!

I'll be sure to post them. Nothing quite like the new season's clothing to signal the end of winter.

I haven't come across Bocco either, I don't think. It's great that you have a nose for bargain hunting. I'm impatient, and tend to give up and fork out for something more expensive. But it's worth taking the time to really look around for something at similar, or same quality at a better price. Considering I'm also a poor uni student who's always strapped for cash, I shoud make more of an effort. Colorado shoes are really durable, and last a long time. My splurge shops are Mooks, Esprit, Alannah Hill, Review.

Oh, that's so true. I got the shock of my life when I saw they had diamante g-strings in there recently.

Buffy/Angel castmembers. Wow, Rach! I'm glad to hear you've have great experiences with those you've met. Yeah, it's a shame some celebs just don't care enough to give their fans (especially young ones) the time of day. I've heard Avril has become a little more personable these days. I hope that's true for the sake of her fans.

Delta's is the only real signing I've been to actually. But I'm with you there. I'd only go along if I had a real interest in the celeb, beyond thinking they looked or sounded good.

Aww, c'mere Nadene!
Our Chapel St, Bridge Road, and Southbank shops and cafes are wonderful. Sounds like you're due for another trip over here.

Hey Rox!
Glad you finally dropped into the thread. Now we can be as OT as we want while talking Delta! Red and gold/yellow sounds lovely. Do you know if we get a say in the board colours?

We should, I think. When the Scrubs board was customised the graphics team posted a thread on the board asking for ideas for colours (we got our greens/whites/blues!) and for any pictures that people might want to be used. Then they made a selection and we had a week or so to vote ... it was all very fun and the made sure it was the kind of things the posters wanted!

Yeah. I started getting footballers autographs when I was about seven, when my Dad took me through to the ground for some reason and the players were all getting on the team bus to go to an away game! I got 21 autos that day, I was so proud!

I've been to a few BtVS/Ats conventions - I've got all the video box sets (21 in total, 23 when season five is released at the end of this month) and my aim is to get each set signed by at least one cast member. So far, 12 of them are signed (with 13 autos, as Andy Hallett and Mark Lutz both signed the same box ) I'm so organised, I even have a list of who is to sign what! *g*

The only time I've gone to a signing thing when I've not been interested in the celeb is when I went to an SFX event earlier this year that Alexis Denisof and Greg Grunberg were supposed to appear at. Alexis cancelled ages ago but by the time Greg cancelled I had my ticket and trains and hotel room booked, so I went anyway. None of the people I met were particularly big stars, other than Chris Barrie and Billy Boyd. And I got to fulfil one of my other life goals - telling a hobbit I've never seen Lord of the Rings!

Aww, damn! Hopefully soon though, up here they came a bit after we got VG. But we haven't had Temt long, only mabye since christmas..or a bit after. But lucky, all those designer stores!

I'm glad winter is over, I think it's been a bad one, it's been colder than usual up here and gah I don't like it!

I know what you mean, sometimes it's easier just to give up! But yes, Colorado shoes are awesome, Most of my shoes now are theres, and they've lasted sooo long!

Yes I am well over due for a trip there. I was menat to go at the end of July but I lost my job in April so I started a new one and couldn't get holidays so soon
So I am hoping to make it over early next year - if not then, DEFINITELY for the AFL Grandfinal next year!
Then I can shop, eat, gamble (I love Crwon Casino) and watch as much AFL as I want!

Ohh! I was asked by someone from the graphics team to see if I wanted to join and they say that all I have to do is sumbit a banner. Maybe I'll do that now and maybe suggest colours too.

Kat, or maybe something blue-ish. But then that would be a bit innocent and we know Delta isn't that anymore.

Right, I should probably talk about something else besides Delta considering this is the OT thread. Um...
