What is This Is Us about?

I can't really explain without giving away the twist in the pilot It is mostly about family though, and it's one of the best shows I've ever seen so you should definitely check it out. I think it's airing in Australia soon.

Yes it is, it was one of the shows which had a starting date announced so far this week. There were comments saying there was a twist and that the ad on TV here is supposedly revealing things. Currently neither Chelle or I are watching anything on that channel though so I have not seen an ad for it. I cannot understand it from the description but it makes me curious. There were also people complaining that because the channel here is airing it when most of the season will have already aired in the US there are spoilers and I find that hilarious. At least they are airing it and airing while the season is still airing in the US. They could have never aired it or made Australia wait months or years for it. People always have to find something to complain about. I asked since I saw the start date for it but other than just taking your word for it I am not sure if I want to check it out still .

Speaking of your board, I am sorry for the delay in the Standard Avatars thread being put up. I realised when I had avatars to add into a poll that there had not been a thread started yet when I should have been checking if Mel had started it since I know she is busy. But at least it was started eventually, and then soon enough the customisation will start on it. Perhaps that is another reason for me to check it out; then I may know something about a new board I am customising for a change .

Well when the show first started it was compared to Parenthood a lot, which makes sense because every episode is so emotional, but there's this aspect of the show (that I can't explain without giving anything away) that is so unique, so I'm not really sure what to compare it to. You should definitely watch the pilot and find out for yourself, it's so good

Oh no worries I'm excited for the customization though, and yes that would definitely be a good reason for you to watch the show

I wouldn't read any descriptions, I don't think they'd help you understand You really do need to watch the pilot, it'll all make sense then.

No. I'm just tired & hurt so want to be able to rest. Wish I could have stayed in bed today instead of going to work. One thing which doesn't help cramps - interacting with & picking up children

I think you'd really enjoy it, Chelle. Aside from the twist, it's just a show about family and life The characters are all likeable and the storylines are easy to relate to.

Aw I'm sorry, I can imagine that doesn't help. At least you can get some rest now
