I bought The Diary of Anne Frank (which I only realized the other day I hadn't ever read), The Devil Wears Prada and two books in a series that I started reading - Second Helpings and Charmed Thirds. Coles had a buy 3 get the 4th free sale

I've read The Devil Wears Prada, it was good, but I recall liking the film version better. Which is odd, because I usually never like the movie adaptations of books very much! And oooh, the Megan Mccafferty series? I've been meaning to read them! Are they good?

I might have to drop by Coles sometime this week.

The Diary of Anne Frank is an amazing book

Kayla, have you read "Zlata's Diary" and "The Freedom Writers Diary" or seen the freedom writers movie? All amazing book and a great movie.

My sister said the opposite about The Devil Wears Prada...she liked the book better. We'll see how I feel when I eventually get around to reading it.
Yes! The Megan McCafferty series...wow, someone knows about it!

The first book, Sloppy Firsts, was soooo good. I've read it two or three times already ...it was so hard to find the other books in the series. You should definitely give them a shot

Chris - I haven't read either of those books, and I haven't seen that movie either. Is that the one with Hilary Swank? I wanted to see it.

Kayla: I'll definately get the first book in the series this week then! I'm going on a roadtrip this weekend, so I've been looking for a good book to take along. Anyway, the only reason why I know of the Megan McCafferty series is because of news story that happened a while back. A bit shocking that someone from Harvard would blatantly copy someone else's writing like that, eh!

Kayla: Yep it was the one with Hilary Swank, it is a must see in my opinion. Watch the movie, then read the book

The book is basically the diaries of the people in which the movie is made
