I know we have our very own threads for albums, singles, b-sides and tour songs..but we talk about them as a whole then move on, which isn't fair to the ones we really hate

or just in general when it comes to appreciating Delta's work.

I thought for the first one, I'd pick one of the ones that people seem to either love or hate: Bare Hands!

What do you think of the lyrics? Do you like the melody? Could you see it being released? What would the video be like?

Ooo this is a great thread idea.

I looove Bare Hands. I love the melody and the lyrics - I think it's a really clever concept and I love all the metaphors in it!
I could see it being released, yeah, although I don't know how well it'd do. I reckon it could have a really good video as well coz of all the imagery.

Bare Hands is definitely one of my favourite songs. I think I mostly like it for the lyrics, which I think in some way are true to life.

It could definitely be released as a single. The beat is catchy enough that I think people would wanna listen to it.

The song is different and not very Delta-like....but I think that's what may draw people in.

tbh Bare Hands is one song by Delta i dont really care either way about it

I do like this song, it's just the little "a little pain lets you know you're alive" rap that puts me off.

Believe Again is very Delta! Bit doof doof but essentially very her.

As for BH..it's a bit emo yes, and that's okay, I like that from her..bit of depth, you know, but I find with that song I'll just put something else on that will make me wanna sing along like YWOBMH after letting BH play for a bit [if at all]. It's a bit of an automatic reaction that I can't help.

What are your play counts for this song? I think mine's pretty low in terms of the whole Delta cd.

Oh! I'm always singing along with BH.

It's got the most play counts for me out of the whole album. That's just on my iTunes though, often I listen to them when I've got my iPod plugged in on the iPod section.

Does your ipod count not transfer to itunes when you're syncing it? I think mine does that..I could be wrong though, 'cos I listen to songs obsessively on both itunes/pod so after a while I can't tell.

Mine's at: 87 plays. Wow, way more than I was expecting!

I haven't got my iPod & iTunes synced.
I use Windows Media Player sometimes too.
