In March, Delta revealed to her fans that she had signed on with Mercury Records/Universal, saying "the time was right for me to go with a different label." Her new record label plans to launch a "series of intimate showcase events and select TV appearances for the spring with an eye for bigger things as the album develops this year...plans are to focus on her strengths as a songwriter, musician and live performer."

The "In This Life" digital single was released on April 15th. Being described as "effortlessly seducing radio with its life-affirming chorus and wall-to-wall melodic rush," ITL has debuted into the Top 50 Mediabase Hot-AC Chart, with growing popularity. Meanwhile, Delta has begun her promotional campaign across the US. We hear from Rich on April 11th that she’s been visiting radio stations, doing acoustic performances and promoting ITL all over California. To see Delta perform a selection of her songs at Texas radio station, click here!


April 19th, Delta performed a showcase in New York City for exclusive industry guests. According to Rich, "it was a great show, and we had some really strong, positive reactions from everyone there."


On April 22nd, Delta performed another showcase at the Henry Fonda Theatre in LA. Video footage of Delta singing “Believe Again” from a few lucky US Delta fans who managed to attend that showcase!


Delta sang for a ION Television Event in New York early May and it was announced that her music would be featured in the network’s fall season.


The American public has begun to take notice of Delta as she appears at various events such as the Hot List Party in NYC and does a performance for Billboard Magazine during the month of May (the video of this performance is here):


May 7th: Delta performed at the NARM Gala in San Fransisco in front of hundreds of label executives.


The Official US Video for “In This Life” was released on May 15th. It's getting good exposure and airplay and has since entered VH1's Top 20 Countdown. Watch it here:

June 8th: Delta performed at the Gay Pride Festival in LA with Olivia Newton John, click here to see video footage of their duet "Right Here With You".


On June 9th-11th, Delta performed three concerts for audiences in various areas of Texas: Corpus Christi, McAllen and El Paso. To check out video footage from the McAllen concert, click here!


Delta has been doing numerous appearances at various events across the US including a visit to MTV's TRL Studios on June 17th, and a performance at the Heroes of Hope Gala on June 16th. Delta also hosted a birthday event for the American Vegas magazine at the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas on June 21st. On June 25th & 26th, Delta did two shows in New York & Washington. The first was the Starry Night In The Garden event in Buffalo with Vanessa Carlton, Ferras and Anna Nalick, where Delta's performance was reviewed as one that "stole the show." July 10: As the date of Delta's album release gets closer, she's getting ready for the promotional buzz. Recently Delta stopped by an Arizona radio station to play a selection of her songs and do an interview, videos of this can be seen here. Delta's self-titled debut album was released in North America on July 15th, receiving glowing reviews from numerous music critics, with Billboard calling Delta "a vivacious 12-song showcase of versatility and melodic mastery." The album debuted at #116 and sold 6,048 copies in it's first week of release. Delta also took the coveted #1 spot in Billboard's Best New Artist/Top Heatseekers chart!
