May I ask, why are you voting out the instrumental? It's backing to a beautiful song! Is it because it's not a "real" song compared to the others because it's just backing?

I think it's a beautiful song too. It's one of the most beautiful instrumental pieces of both albums IMO. But like you said, it's backing. Since there are no vocals to compare with the other candidates, I feel like I can do away with it more easily.

Apologies for being late starting the new round, but it was a mixture of the dodgy dialup I have no I'm back at Uni not co-operating last night, and wanting someone else to break the tie!

I'm going to break it with NMNI, I'm afraid, for basically the same reasons as Kat - if I were voting from all the songs, there's one or two I'd vote out first. But over FSW, which I personally really like, I can't keep it in. Especially since NMNI won IE survivor - it's had it's moment of glory!

Yes, that's very true!

To Love Somebody. It's not that I don't like it. She sounds lovely and Nikki has a pretty voice too. I guess it comes down to not growing to love (or listen to it enough) over time like I have some of the others.

I've been trying to hold off voting myself in case there's a tie, so that I can break it without having to change my vote. In the previous survivors, it hasn't mattered so much, but this one seems to be having ties every other round!

If I were going to vote in this round, I think I'd vote for Here I Am. I love it, but I don't really like the original version, I much prefer the piano/cello version.

Ah, I see. Maybe you could implement a past votes thing where you can just use old votes from previous rounds to boot them off, if you continually need to break ties.

That probably *was* the original version but I bet they pulled it because they thought it didn't fit with the image they were trying to project.
