2009 - The Year of the Delta - Make Your Predictions!
What do you think Delta will accomplish in 2009?
What do you see happening to her in her career/life next year? I don't mean things that ARE happening like the tour 'cos we know that's a sure thing.  Finally tying the knot is the main one I can think of.  If she pushes it further after saying it would happen in '09 will just make people think it's not happening. |

Well, the wedding, of course. You're right Evie, if she puts it off, people will just think something's wrong. Now that the date's out there, she's gotta stick to it
Also, she'll turn 25. She will be a quarter of a century year old. Poor gal's gettin' old. I'd hope that she'd gain some American awards because that will mean she's finally made it in the States. __________________

If she's got too much on I could see them doing a Greatest Hits album, it's too early in her career but she does have enough hits for one.

I'd love to know she's at least working on a new album. I'm sure she has plenty to write about after all her experiences in America this year.
More than anything, I want her in the UK!!! |

That would be cool, anything new from her is usually great.

She's only got ITL in the US right now, right?

Pretty much. I would have thought she'd be on single #2 by now, but hey. A new year, fresh start.

They probably just wanted to test the waters with ITL first and see how that went.

Probably. It did well for what it was, they need to get her on more tv shows 'cos she is a charmer in interviews.
Well she's got the tour but that will wrap up in Feb won't it. Then she's got the wedding but who knows where that will be held. As for anything else, I have no idea what she's got planned for Aussie! |

The problem this year was, she was on the talk shows, but didn't talk. No one's gonna remember you if you dont say anything.
Well I hope she spends some more time at home this year as well. It's always nice to have homegrown talent return to their roots. __________________
