Me too. But I think the fact they went up a little rather than going down is good. Maybe it will slowly draw in a larger crowd. I'm not expecting it to be a break-out hit just because of what it is up against but I think it can hold it's own.

Maybe once baseball play-offs are over it will get better.

Sean Faris' movie "Sleepover" comes out on DVD on November 16th. I can't wait, I'll definitely check it out. Anything with Sean is worth my time.

Although ABC has found two key building blocks -- Desperate Housewives and Lost -- to work with this season, the network remains buried on Thursday with Extreme Makeover (#3: 5.3/ 8; Viewers: 6.56 million; A18-49: 2.2/ 6), life as we know it (#4: 3.1/ 4; Viewers: 4.03 million; A18-49: 1.5/ 3) and ....

They seriously need to move the show to another time slot.

CBS Starts Sweeps on Top; 'O.C.' Does OK

CBS won the first night of November sweeps handily, as it does most Thursdays, while FOX got decent numbers from the return of "The O.C."

For the night, CBS averaged a 15.0 rating/23 share, ending with a big lead over NBC, 10.1/15. FOX and ABC tied for third at 4.4/7 (with FOX holding an edge in total viewers). UPN came in at 3.2/5, easily beating The WB's 1.4/2.


CBS also won the night among adults 18-49, posting an 8.5 rating in the key demographic. NBC was second at 7.1, and FOX was a distant third at 2.9. ABC averaged 2.0, UPN 1.6 and The WB 0.9.
"Survivor: Vanuatu" started things for CBS with a 12.2/19 at 8 p.m. "Joey," 8.3/13, and "Will & Grace," 8.0/12, gave NBC second for the hour. The season premiere of "The O.C." managed a 5.5/8, not fantastic but much better than FOX usually does on Thursdays. "Extreme Makeover," 4.8/7, was fourth for ABC. The first hour of "WWE Smackdown!" on UPN came in fifth, beating "Blue Collar TV" and "Drew Carey's Green Screen Show" on The WB.

At 9 p.m., "CSI" drew a huge 18.7/27 for CBS, blowing the competition away. "The Apprentice" was second for NBC at 10.5/15, and there was a big drop after that. "Smackdown!," 3.4/5, managed to grab third, just ahead of FOX's "North Shore," 3.3/5. ABC's "life as we know it" was fifth. The WB went with a repeat of "Charmed."

"Without a Trace," 14.1/22, completed CBS's sweep of the night at 10 p.m. "ER" averaged 11.6/18 for NBC, and "Primetime Live" came in at 5.5/9 for ABC.

Nothing so far on if it's been picked up. The ratings are pretty low so I'm not sure.

It's 5 out of 6 shows for that timeslot I think. So it hasn't been doing all that great, but considering what it is up against, that is to be expected.

I really hope the ratings get better soon. I would hate to see this show go.
