Buena Vista Home Entertainment has also announced Life As We Know It: The Complete Series, which will be arriving in shops from the 23rd August this year. Retail will be set at around $39.99. This coming-of-age story is not just about sex, love, friendship and family but also about how the pressures of growing up affect the teenagers’ attitudes toward the things and people they love, and how these experiences shape them into adults. Each of the episodes will be presented in full frame along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras will include two exclusive, unaired episodes that reveal how the series ended, audio commentaries, outtakes, deleted scenes and a producer's photo gallery. We'll bring you art shortly.

We get deleted scenes, commentaries, & outtakes!
$40 for 13 episodes? It comes out the same day as "The O.C." S2. __________________

I know what you mean. But I'm still set on buying it...I know it'll be on discount the first week on the shelves. I'll put off the OC dvds for awhile, I'm not into it this season anyway.

It says audio commentaries...I'm hoping the teen cast did one. They seemed tight on set from the outtakes that were shown on MTV.
And gosh outtakes? I LOVE those! |

Hm..$40 seems a tad expensive to me. Is that the publishers price? What was the OC price listed as? Because OC is usually originally placed around $60, but marked down to $40 when in stores.
ETA: I checked the OC's retail price and it's $69.99 which was S1's retail price too and was marked down about $20-30 in the first week it was out, and usually remaining weeks. So it's safe to say, lawki should come out for $20-30 avg. __________________

I would check stores the first week it's out ... they are very good like that.
Also, Amazon.com ... this site with the prices is never accurate. Six Feet Under, The O.C., Boy Meets World, and life as we know it ... they are all coming out on August 23rd. __________________

Oh, really? I am definetly getting The OC, life as we know it, Lost, DH ... not necessarily when they come out.
The OC, DH, & Lost - I'll get those. My sister will probably get lawki. __________________

I'll probably buy lawki for myself. It does seem a bit much for only 13 episdes...like...a full season should be about $40-50, but only half a season or so should be around 30 or so. Whatever, I'm still going to buy it. I'll probably just rent Lost...might buy Boy Meets World (because ooooh awesome). I'm not all that interested in The OC and I like SFU, but I'm not going to buy the DVDs.

BMW too? I love that show, I have the first two seasons on DVD. Damn, I need to find some money. I really want to get Lost when that comes out b/c I watched sporadically. From what I did see it's an awesome show.
