*sigh* I hate people who want to censor things. The v-chip exists for a reason, and every tv has one. I'm pretty sure it can be programed to block lawki. Also, the parents should be responsible enough to keep their kids from watching the television show if they find it so offensive. Personal responsiblity is good, censorship is bad.
My affiiliate near the college I go to has pre-empted lawki twice, once for a Billy Graham special (Dec. 2) and once for a St. Jude program (Dec. 16). Both times I have e-mailed the general manager and complained, but I receved no reply. I wonder if the affiliate had gotten complaints about the show, and that was their reasoning for pre-empting new episodes? |
