- Have Grace progress as a character so that she's no longer the one whom everyone insults when things aren't going their way.
- I'd also like for the character to find herself, ie. regain some of the life that she's obviously lost or had burned out of her over the years.
- I'd like Tom to be stuck in a situation where he doesn't know what to say, where he's the one who's lost. He always seems to know how to handle Grace. I'd like a reversal of that, just once.
- I'd like to see Jack really fall, fall hard from his throne. Even the knee injury doesn't seem to have visibly turned his world upside down.
- I'd like Katie to stick around forever.
- I do not want Missy to change. I love her and I love hating all that she stands for. It's wonderful and I hope that the powers that be resist the urge.
- Courtney needs fleshing out, and lots of it. The character really has potential. I'd like to feel as though I have someone to root for in her by the time that the season is over.
- and finaly, I'd like for the future people only to be used when they really benefit the episode, rather than using them because it's the done thing

- I want to see Marcus really develope a story that everyone can get into
- Peter to bond with his daughters and for him to deal with the loss of his wife. Maybe in the near future to find a love interest. Not Grace because she just does not fit with him.
- Courtney should interact more with Bobby. Not all the time but since these two end up getting married it would be fun to see their younger selves interacting a little bit.
- Jimmy needs to come back and be in a scene with Peter! lol just think that would be funny b/c the character's of these two (Tom C. and John) on Ed hated each other
-Missy to grow out of her valley girl stage
- Jack to spend more time with Bobby
