Who thought Jack was going to be President?
Just wondering before the show aired and before seeing the end of the pilot who thought Jack was going to be President? I'll be honest I did. Do you Jack would have been as good a President as Bobby? A better one?

I honestly didn't have a clue as to which one would be. I think he might make a better president, might not, depends on who he grows up to be. At the moment, I feel Bobby isn't really cut out to be a GOOD president. A lovable, gentle one perhaps, but I feel Jack would be better. He seems to take charge more, although he frequently bothers me.

I thought it would have been too obvious to have Jack be president so I was happy to hear that it was Bobby. Right now I could totally see Jack being the better president. He's very mature, smart and caring and I think if given the opportunity to change things as a leader he would. If we got a second, or even a third season, I see Jack running for school president. I always have little scenarios that I'd love to see floating around in my head and that's one of them. Jack no longer has track and I think he's going to head into school politics or even another extracurricular...Drama, perhaps? You know I want to hear him sing.
 I think what's really special about Bobby being president is that you can't see it in him now. Each episode is supposed to show an inch of growth in his character so that in the end, we'll all know that he was the best guy for the job. __________________

It does seem the typical choice would be Bobby (the "geek" brother), but I honestly never knew.....

In the pilot I actually thought Bobby as prez was the obvious choice that's why I thought it would be Jack especially when he said "The wrong brother became president." but i'm glad it ended up being Bobby.

I'm glad Bobby was picked to be President. I don't think Bobby would really have a purpose in the show if he wasn't. I like Bobby better than Jack though, so, yeah.

I always thought that it would be Bobby because he was nerdy, dorky, and seemed very into all the presidential or historical point of things. Jack would be a good president though. I think that Bobby was the better choice and the most predictible, and i am really glad that they picked him. Jack has so much more going for him
