But it all serisousness, Matt surprised me with his acting skills. I thought he was just going to be another good looking guy they were going to use to sell the show like usual but he completely blew me away. The scenes with Cristine/Grace were just amazing!

I really loved Matt tonight. Not only is he hot, but he can also act really well. He just blew me away when he had the scene with Cristine infront of the school. I'm really looking foward to seeing him more on the show.

Matt did a great job in the pilot. He's already shown he can tackle the tough scenes. Can't wait for more!

Matt did great job as Jack. He is an exceptional actor and made the part his own. He really won me over. So far, Jack is my favortie character. Which should be a surprise since he is the real star of the show. The only story is about how Jack will teach Bobby and guide him along the way to becoming a great man. And how Bobby will do the same for Jack. The brothers are the best sibling pair that I have seen.

I agree. Matt was great in the pilot. He's made me a fan. And Jack is definitely my favorite character as of now.

Every actor I put in my "tops" list has usually had to prove his acting chops fairly early on, usually in the dramatic sense. I am definitely adding Matt to the list because he was incredibly dynamic in some of the scenes in the pilot. He is very expressive and does a great job telling the story with his face and body, not relying on the words to get a point across. Plus he's definitely not bad looking, so that can only help him.

Simply put, he was fabulous. Yay! New actor for me.

I agree with everyone who said Matt did an excellent job. He could've been just another "WB pretty boy who broods" but instead he brought real depth to the character.

I think I'll watch the pilot again on Thursday.
