Jack & Bobby - Grace/Peter Appreciation Thread #1

I think these two could turn into something really interesting. Even if all they have is a friendship, I think that Grace needs someone else in her life, especially since she wants Jack and Bobby to have a greater relationship. And I find Peter an interesting character. I can't wait to see how he influences the McCallisters.

Yeah, Grace seems like she needs, to be blunt, a life. I think they're bound to run into each other some more.

I love the flirting between these two. They really have a connection. I'm not sure if they ever really will be together. However, I can see them at least dating a few times. So may say that they have already been on a date.

To me that wasn't a "real" date.

as of right now, i can't reallly imagine them "dating" dating, but I can defintely see some more of those dinners and nights together that don't always seem like dates. if that makes any sense. in other words, i can see them hanging out and really enjoying each other's company, but i think grace isn't ready to start anything yet, and peter, thank goodness, realizes that and won't try anything until she's ready. I like Peter and I think he'll be good in a relationship, I'm just not sure about Grace yet.

but yeah, i loved it in the last episode, when they were having drinks, and they were talking and Peter was telling her not to go home, because she had already been drinking, and that showed how much he cared about her. And then she was like, 'what am I supposed to do' and he told her 'call the cops.' That was funny

Last night's episode between the two was great - they tried to make the other jealous with their dates

I can't really see them dating anymore. I see their friendship growing more and more with each episode. They are really going to be able to relate to each other with the parental issues and disagree with almost everything else. It makes for an exciting combination. If they were to start dating I think it would be a little much Brady Bunch right now.

Perhaps a friendship can be the basis of a relationship? They flirted at the beginning, developing a friendship through the last couple of episodes... but perhaps there is more... who ever knows

Andie - I'm sure sometime in the future, they'll become even more friendlier - but I don't think right now that their friendship will grow into anything more. I like that Grace and Peter are sort of different in their opinions because it's very interesting to watch them interact with each other.

I still think they're great as a couple. It's just that at the present time Grace's personality is leaning towards Tom. Their time will come, though. And with Bobby/Peter developing a relationship, it's just foreshadowing the future relationship b/w P&G, IMO.

I really hope Peter finds someone other than Grace. One, they can't trust each other and even though sometimes opposites attract, I think these two would repel most of the time. I kind of knew that Grace's relationship with Tom would be doomed but we'll see what happens.

Grace and Peter need to be friends who can help each other out. Besides their kids get married later. None of the relationship confusion please.

I love G/P as friends. They're great for each other in that respect. But, T/G shipper that I am, having them as a couple wouldn't really be my favorite. Besides, like jsrocks pointed out, their personalites don't really fit. No matter how much poor Peter likes Grace.
