I bet. Grace puns are pretty easy. I actually had a daydream once where Grace kept falling over things and Jimmy nicknamed her "Grace-less McCallister....." And yeah, I know I'm insane......

At first I didn't really like the name Grace for her, but then i'm like "Wait, that's actually very clever."

Yeah, I think they did it on purpose. I didn't originally like the name either, but now I see it......

I think that the name Grace is perfectly fitting and the best oxymoron at once. She is so very graceful in the way that she takes all the verbal abuse her children hurl at her. Then, however, when other characters push her buttons she's totally inyourface and brash. It's why I can relate to her predicaments so very well

eta. do tell me whether American Daughter is any good. Christine was nominated for an Emmy for that one, yes?

I just watched the movie and it was good. It was really funny, actually. Christine was amazing as always.

That's great. I was holed up in the library. I wish I had gotten to see it.

Got this from imdb..
A Senator's daughter (Christine Lahti) seems to have a lock on a nomination as the US Surgeon General, until a background check reveals she once neglected to return a jury-duty notice. Then she makes a mistake in comments about her homemaker mother that leaves her open to a media blitz and her sure-fire nomination suddenly appears shaky.

Christine's character was so funny.

Aw, I wanted to cry because in this one part, they're having brunch (at 1 o'clock, riiiiiight) and she's in the other room and her husband starts kissing another chick and she walks in. Then in another scene they show her curled up in a chair with a pillow in the dark and she's crying. It was really sad.
