Same here, I wasn't watching a game either. I go to school in Delaware with Eagles fans so that's all I hear about, but when I'm home, it's all about the Yankees. I'm a Mets fan though.
Wait, what's this thread about again? When are the SAGs? __________________

Same here - but baseball's my game - I love it I'm way too obsessed with it over the summer...okay, so maybe I only missed one game out of 162 which is sad

Wow, I work outside during the summer so I'm usually wiped out when I get home, and this past summer it was Degrassi > baseball > bed. I don't think I've been as dedicated a viewer since I started college. It's hard to follow my team while I'm away. I used to have the schedule up over my desk though.

Don't worry, I've got schedules posted throughout my house I think the worst is when my team (the Phillies, okay, they always lose, but still, I'm loyal ), is playing a west coast team in May - when I have school, I go crazy because I'm the type that can't just look over the stats and figure out what happened - I need to see it. It's not the same reading an article - I need to see it

I know! I try to watch the MLB GameDay feature online that updates every other minute, but it's not the same. I really want to get to go to a Met game next season. There are bus trips from my school to some Phillie games, so I should look into one of those someday. I understand the losing team thing. The story of my fandom...

I'd be lying if I said I was anything but confused.

Yeah, we kind of went off on another tangent for a minute there. Sorry.

I know - it's not the same The Mets have really improved - Beltran and Pedro - they've got a great team now Yes, you must visit the Phillies - they just got a new stadium last year - Citizen's Bank Park - it's gorgeous, despite the fact that they still haven't made it to the postseason in more than 10 years

I don't know much about Beltran, but he better be worth the 100 million we shelled out. Pedro might do better with the NL...less Yankee-stress since we only play them 6x during the season. I'm still basking in the glow of the Mets sweep of the Yankees this summer.

I'll just nod. I assume we're discussing baseball on the CL thread? You have to laugh a little....

Yeah...I'm hoping that Christine likes baseball. That's not getting us back on topic though, right?

She probably does. She strikes me as a semi-tomboy.

Yeah, Christine loves baseball, all the more reason to talk about it
That's good that the Mets don't have to play the Yankees that much - I'm not a big Yankee fan - they spend too much money __________________

Oh dear, I've encouraged you.
I'm getting oddly into The West Wing-anyone else like it? |

Yes you have!
I think I only saw one or two episodes of West Wing - is it still on? When? __________________
