Thanks for the welcome guys! Sorry if I sounded negative about wasting my time... but SEVERAL of the shows I got involved in were cancelled. I have a lot of dangling storylines in my head.

It is a shame that they cancelled J&B but I really don't think my time was wasted. J&B was such a wonderful show with intelligent writing. You don't see that much these days.

I agree that the writing was great, which is what roped me in the first day. I wasn't too interested in the show at first but after that pilot, there was no way that I wouldn't grow to love the show like I have.

The writing kept me there but what brought me in was the idea that we don't know what the future will bring.. seeing how one of these boys would one day become the President. Almost like Smallville but more realistic.

The writing/acting/story all brought me in.
Like I said somewhere else on the board, there is always one show The WB promotes that I have to see ... and Jack & Bobby was that show this year. Too bad I won't be seeing it next year. What kept me coming back: Everything. Altough, Missy almost made me leave the show, but I was glad she was not a main character. Never liked her throughout the entire series. It turns out the only episode I have on tape is 'Legacy'. __________________

If the show would have been bad, I still would've watched it b/c John Slattery was on it. I can't help it he's my favorite actor. Anyways thanks to everyone involved with the show, we were given more than great actors. Someone said before to look at it as one long movie. J&B was great and I can't wait for the DVD!

It was almost like a mini-series. It had that sense about it. If you know me, I love a good mini-series.
On another front Into the West is starting tomorrow on TNT if anyone is going to watch that mini-series. |

I was thinking of checking it out, Mike.
As for J&B - I wouldn't say it was like a mini-series, or a movie. It was just 22 hours of great television, IMO. I didn't hate any of the episodes ... that says something in my book. __________________

It was an excellent tv show, but you all know that. I could have done w/ less of Jacks scenes though, b/c the Missy/Jack/Courtney triangle really bored me.

It was a great finale. And seeing all those guest stars was a treat too.
