They are just so cute. I loved it, Courtney signing Bobby's petition for the Space Club, so sweet. And when she told Jack the only reason she was talking to him was because of Bobby. Its like the connection for them is already there.

But there is a age gap, not to sure how much...I mean how old are they supposed to be excatly?

Well Bobby is in eighth grade and I would say Jack and Courtney are in 10th or 11th...not more than three years I would think

But yeah, I just like them as friends...for now

Yea, I'd say friends too for now, that would be just a tad weird for an 10th or 11th grader dating and 8th grader. Ya know.

i could def. see a very solid friendship between these two, from the start they connected, and i think they will be like that for many years.

I find the friendship between these two extremely interesting, especially since we know it turns into something more much later. From what we've seen I'm thinking Jack was Courtney's true love, and Bobby was the love she grew with. The B&C connection obviously stems from Jack now, and will probably continue to do so later on in their lives. I enjoyed them tonight, not in the romantic sense, but just in the whole history if it, this show really did well with all of the relationships it brought up and developed.

I'm not sure if Jack will be her true love, more like first love, IMO. The kind that you don't forget, but I think when she eventually comes together with Bobby that what they have will be just as real.

And I wouldn't say Bobby and Courtney's connection comes from Jack. If anything, it's the other way around. Bobby is kind of what got Courtney interested in Jack in the first place....she admits it by saying that when she saw Jack with Bobby, she assumed he would be a great guy. It just turns out that she isn't wrong.

I really liked these twos' scenes together, I just think that they'll be great friends, and turn into more later..I don't agree with what someone said, I don't think that B&C connection is jack, I agree with what someone else said above, that Jacks Connection to her is through Bobby, not the other way around..

I don't agree that jack was her true love, I think in the pilot we heard her say something that made that seem very unlikely

COURTNEY: "I loved Jack, the way you love the first time. But Bobby...
Bobby was my life."

I think that says alot

They are adorable. Not really in a 'shippy way, but in a bro/sis way. I like how she signed his petition and defended him against those evil little kids. The best love stems from friendship, ya know.

I loved the look on Bobby's face when Courtney showed him all the signatures on the petition. That was such a sweet thing for her to do for him, and he was just shocked. So cute.

Jack and Bobby are 3 years apart (16 and 13, respectively) so I assume Bobby and Courtney have about the same number between them.

I love these two as well. Obviously just as friends at the moment, and like everybody else, I loved the petition scene.

My sister was sitting next to me part of the time I was watching, and I was trying to explain the premise to her (I already knew the ending because Cosmogirl! gave it away

) and she was like, "You mean, she marries that little boy??!!"

That was funny.

Hi guys!

Actually, I love them as a ship and as pals on the show. I think Joshua hit it right on the nail for me... the thing that sold me on them as a couple. It's what Courtney says in the future. It's probably my favourite line in the show.

"I loved Jack, the way you love the first time. But Bobby... Bobby was my life."

I just think it's a beautiful quote...actually my favourite part of the episode was the last part where Jack and Bobby were running and then they explain the picture...oy...

Anyways, I was skeptical about the idea of Courtney ending up with Bobby in the future cuz it sounded weird but when I saw Bobby approach her the first time and saw the sweet twinkle in his blue eyes and the way that Courtney was so warm to him, I definitely believe that they are kindred spirits.

I mean, I'm going to enjoy seeing Jack and Courtney fall in love, sure, but what is going to make me giddy is just how immediate the bond between Bobby and Courtney began and how she becomes his first ally. It's not love yet but I like that she has a fondness for him already...it's sweet.

It's interesting as well how Courtney said they are like two sides of one coin...Jack was the strength and Bobby was the heart. I could understand why she loved them both...and although Jack was her first love, I think Bobby was the love of her life. I so wish we could see future Bobby's perpspective on this.

Anyways, I thought I should drop off this banner. I thought it would be nice for now...

Bobby and Courtney have a quality in there relationship. While a lot of people don't really like the idea of these two. I think that it is wonderful. Things like there relationship happens all the time in real life. Ok maybe not with brothers, but with best friends, cousins, ect. People grow and change together. Which is how Bobby and Courtney developed this deep love. Like towards the end of the pilot episode when she hands him the Space Club petition. There was a look in both of their eyes. Something that just sparked. I hope that I wasn't the only one to see that.

ITA with Bobby was the connection between Courtney and Jack, remember Courtney liked Bobby before Jack, she first Jack was basicly some cocky guy, but first went to the bonfire because he was Bobby's brother, and how she got mad at him for not protecting Bobby, her real true love lies with Bobby not Jack.

Call me crazy, b/c although I am very interested to see where Jack and Courtney will lead, I felt the connection between Bobby and Courtney even more. I too thought they were very sweet, and I like her having a link between the two brothers.

I think the reason Bobby and Courtney look so strange is that the gap between Matt and Logan in real-life is pretty significant, whereas on the show the brothers only have three years between them.

It sounds like Jack and Courtney had an intensely exhilarating, unpredictable, if shorter, time together--unforgettable as first loves are. But Bobby and Courtney had a more grown up, lasting bond that built upon the bond they had formed while growing up. Jack may not end up being a central point in their relationship but their mutual love for him might be another thing that strengthens their own connection.
