On IMDB under FAQ for the Strangers it states: Yes, a sequel will be released in 2010. Further details are currently to be arranged.

Then on Liv's IMDB there is a discussion thread stating folks have heard and read she will be coming back and has signed on for The Strangers 2! I certainly hope so! I wish I had IMDB pro because apparently that is the only access to IMDB on the Strangers 2 as of now.

I haven't seen The Strangers yet, I'm not particularly looking forward to watching it either. It was bad enough seeing Liv in the river in Heavy! Which I'll add, is a brilliant film.
